The games I'd like sheets for are Lost Souls and Marvel Universe RPG (The stone based system).

If it can't be done due to a lack on information on the system, I will gladly provide you with whatever you need to build it.

Thanks for anything,

Howdies!

In the Control Panel, the "Go to last post" button was the dominant tool I used for navigation. Recently, I have begun preferring to navigate to the game forum itself and using the "Go to first new post" buttons attached to each unread thread.

It would be lovely if both buttons were available in the Control Panel view.

With the advent of some enhanced delays in page loads on the site (is this due to the new cloud we're in?), any tools that allow us to get to where we need to go with fewer clicks are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Someone on this forum, not really a good friend of mine but we were in a game together, posted a rant not long ago.
Here: http://www.myth-weavers.com/showthread.php?t=106851
In this rant he complained about players and DMs dropping out of games, and that is legal according to "free speech".
The responses to this rant always went along the lines of "No other board is better than this one and shit happens".
According to "free speech" that is OK, but then something disturbing happen:
A administrator wields the "AXE OF ADMIN" and says this:

Quote:

Yes it is. On all other pbp sites, every game goes for years and no GM ever drops out. I heartily suggest you go join one of them. Clearly you are not suited for this one.

And then he locks the topic, disabling all form of response from HAL9000.

To me this is supremely childish AND in violation of Free Speech.
Posts can be locked when there is no more reason to post there (it was here), when the post is offensive/discriminating/posted with evil intentions (this post was neither). The post might have been in the wrong section, but that means it is to be MOVED not LOCKED.
I demand Michael reopen the thread and apologise to HAL9000

HAL9000 made a response to that lock witch i think you would benefit from reading:

...I made a post in the site discussion forum in which I complained about people dropping from games... ...what really made me mad was what the site administrator did. He made a wise-ass comment and then locked the thread to replies... ... This is how 4 year olds act when they don't like what they hear. They stick their fingers in their ears and say 'I hate you and I'm not listening, I'm not listening!'.

In light of the childish behaviour from the admin... ...I'm dropping from the site. Congratulations 'wielder of the axe of admin' Michael, you win... ...if we look back in history, surrounding yourself with 'yes' people and hushing the opinion of those who see things differently than oneself has always turned out well... ...I enjoy gaming and I would much rather do it on a site on which I can say, in an open forum, "I don't really like that a and b are happening here, it sucks. Why can't people be like this to fix it instead" without being accosted by fools...

Enjoy your games everyone, and by all means please do not condescend against the site in any way or allow your opinion to differ from the administrations. Really though, enjoy gaming and best of luck with it all...

I ran a game called 'Broken Mountain Delve' for a number of groups and then after the last group finished the adventure either let it get archived or archived it myself.

Went looking for the game forum and was unable to find it either in my Gaming History nor in the Games Browser search (I made sure I wasn't only just searching active games).

Luckily in one of my note files on my computer I found a link to one of the IC thread's of the game and was able to find the game that way. But not sure why the other methods didn't work and concerned that I may not be so lucky to have kept a link to a thread for those games.

The game in question is Broken Mountain Delve

The game is private but shouldn't at least the name show up in the Gaming Search and Gaming History especially since now that it is archived the private setting doesn't seem to do anything anyhow.

They're not doing anything harmful... just sitting there, taking up space. The two games, and links, are Trouble In Demas and Blood Shift. The line right above the input fields says "The level input can be set to any integer 1-20 or any of the following: any, low, med, high." Well "med" doesn't work. While fooling around with it more, I found out that "mid" actually works. So the problem comes down to a simple typo. Can someone change it so as not to confuse people? I know it's not really a big deal, but, it bugged me.

Ok, so for the fifth time now I have created a character that has been accepted into a game that went nowhere. That means I have made stats, a character sheet, purchased equipment, figured a back story, and made some personality traits. This also means that the DM took the time to make things and prepare the game. Took the time to review characters and accept some. Then, after answering some questions or maybe a few in character posts.....nothing. Without warning, the game dies. Sometimes it happens right away, sometimes it takes 3 weeks. Either way, from what I have seen and heard from others, it happens all of the time here.

Now, is this the only website online in which all of the members happen to suffer catastrophic tragedies whenever they start a game, or whenever they join a game as a player? The part that is really great is when people explain that 'real life happened...my roommate moved out, dog died, kid got sick, gold fish is depressed and I lost my job so I haven't been on' and you ask them why then they have logged in everyday for the last week but simply haven't posted and get no reply. I think what really happens is people are being irresponsible and not willing to commit the time. If you aren't willing to invest the time, do not start or join a game.

And really, as a player it only takes a few minutes to post. As A DM, it can take a bit longer than that but still you are looking at no more than 15 minutes. I have two kids, a wife, manage a business, also pick up scrap metal and do other side work, have pets, game every Friday night, and still have time to fuss with face book and post in games on here several times a week. It isn't that hard to make time. If it is hard, then don't apply to a game, and certainly do not make a game. Unexpected things do happen, but really? Have all of the 8-10 players who have gone silent in games, plus the 5 DM's that I alone have seen all experienced some computer meltdown, death, whatever event?

There, my rant is done. Thank you for reading it. I apologize for the tone; it's just a silly situation. Also, this makes me wonder, if these people are all vanishing from the games they are in because they can't handle more than one thing going on at a time in life well oh boy, how are they going to handle the outside world when they really get into it? How will they handle having to do the laundry, get dinner on the table, pick up so and so from the doctor, and still remember to feed the cat, dog, and get to work tomorrow?

Heh....so I suppose that now the rant is done. lol

Would it be possible to add "center" to the list of options available for quick reply? Or is there a way I can do this now that I don't know about? I ask because adding a space for "C" next to "B I U" wouldn't add too much to the interface, but would be very helpful to me. When making DM posts, I tend to center titles and such. So a good portion of my posts end up using the center tag.
