Dungeon Runner
Technology leaped forward after a cache of ancient learning allowed the binding of strange energies with modern weapons. These items appear similar to magic, which has dominated the world until recently, but are much cheaper to produce and much easier to use.
Due to the treasure found and the leaps forward that discovery allowed, merchant families are hiring runners to search through these dungeons, these places of ancient ruin, in hopes of finding new treasure and new technology that will give them riches beyond imagining.
You hire out and plunder these ancient sites. You are a Dungeon Runner.
