Enrith, mother nation and home to King Sigmund VIII and Queen Joan III.
Sigmund, whose royal blood line is responsible for the Pax Machina- or the Machine Treaty- is currently whereabouts unknown. While the machines reside un-powered on Atlantis, Queen Joan still suspects mechanical interference. While Sigmund's bed side still remained warm, underneath the covers was a steam spring spider, a minute machine capable of transmitting visual feed to a remote station no more than 1 kilometer away.
While the local constabulary presumed a set up and the Branch of Inquisitors suggested the Assassinatorium, Queen Joan had a gut feeling regarding the situation- and had not lost hope. If the machines had Sigmund, he was safer than any other captor. Sigmund was under a silent, contracted protection from The Factory- the ruler of Atlantis and few machines would ever disobey a direct directive from The Factory.
She has hired you to investigate Sigmund's disappearance and find out exactly whom, or what, has taken her husband.
