Game Description

When the Order Eclipse was founded, demons from the shadow world controlled Ferra in an age of darkness. Using magic and blade, the Order freed the world, and humanity was at liberty to take advantage of the earth and all its wonder. Gallant mancer-knights tamed the fiercely magical land for human habitation, pushing the things that hunted men back until they seemingly disappeared all together. Great emperors and empires arose.

Man multiplied. Kingdom competed against kingdom. Battles were won and lost. Kingdoms rose and fell. Arts flourished. Discoveries were made. The sciences advanced. The face of the world changed.

And, well, things things changed a lot over the last two thousand years.

The advent of the Lightning Age marked the bloody conclusion of the Crim War. The nation of Ironstrom, emerging from the conflict a fledgling empire and new world power, enjoys a golden age of invention and prosperity.

The Knights of the Order Eclipse are in need of a new generation of mages to fill the ranks of those who have fallen. The Order's purpose? To enact and enforce law (magical and mundane) in whatever manner necessary for the general welfare of the country. It's no small task, and it's not made easier when you've just buried a million of your best guys in the world's first industrialized war. Between dueling dragons, subversive sorcerers, and laughing liches, a lot of crap goes down that disturbs the peace. And that gets the peacekeepers pissed.
