Legends of the West
The taming of the American West was filled with tales of men who lived and died by the gun. Some were honest men trying to bring civilization west, some sought to make the mark on the land and others were little more than cold blooded killers. All three types of men could be found on both sides of the law in this violent era.
This game is about building legends using the Boot Hills 1st Edition. In BH1e there are no skills beyond those defining a character in combat (and gambling, you can't have a western game without gambling rules). The gunfight rules in this system excel at creating Wild West legendary gunfighters.
Each player will run a legend in the making gunfighter and one or more of his henchmen through five Player vs. Player gunfight scenarios. IC posts will be written from the perspective of dime store novelist or "Eastern Newspaper" reporter. The folks that breathed life into these Wild West legends.
