Welcome to City 17 is a campaign that takes place in the Half Life 2 universe, specifically in the events prior and during the rebellion which takes place there.
The player characters (PCs) will be a group of ordinary citizens brought together by circumstance and fate - but no matter what their motivation, will eventually become a part of the human Resistance.
I will be using a slightly modified version of the Spycraft 2.0 system
to accommodate some of the nuances and feel of the Half Life universe.It's dark out. The streets in this sector are barren, but you can hear a Combine chopper in the distance. You ate the last of your rations a day ago, and the gnawing pain of hunger is starting to dig in deeper.
Though well armed after looting a Civil Protection armory, you have no idea what's around the corner - it could be a sniper, a pack of headcrab zombies, or even another citizen.
Staring heavenward, only the familiar smoggy sky and tall form of the Citadel greets you.
