Sorting It Out is a Post-Apocalyptic d20 Modern Game.
10 years have passed since The Rapture occurred. Manhattan has become a ramshackle last vestige of human life in the New York area. The world outside is ravaged by the war between the Angels and Demons, which occasionally spills over into the few city blocks that contains the remains of the humans.
"10 years ago the Rapture took everyone into the sky. Man, woman, child, Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Hindu, gay, lesbian. Far fewer were taken below than everyone thought. Mostly just the pedophiles, murderers, and rapists. Oh, and turns out God had something against people that took babies into theaters. Well, almost everyone, but we'll get into that later.
After that, the angels came down, and the demons came up. Turns out there was some more gray material about them than previously thought. They fight each other to inherit the Earth, ripping each other asunder for a war that won't end anytime soon. The crazy part? The only way you can tell the two apart is the wings, feather and leather. Best to just avoid them.
God is real, angels and demons are real, magic is real. Kinda makes a person think. But doing that's a waste of time, better to just accept it. The real question that needs to be answered?
'Why not us?'"
