You wake up from a deep sleep to find yourself encased in a metal pod. It is dark, with the only illumination provided by small, blinking lights signaling mission readiness. Your memories start to flood back as your droid brain begins to warm up with the servos in your body coming to life. You remember how you came to be here. You were found by your employer, he gave you a purpose, to fight for your brethren and give a voice to enslaved droids across the galaxy. Today you begin your first mission alongside your new team of fellow droid operatives and commandos. As you finish your reboot process a deep, mechanical voice begins speaking in your head. It is a message planet directly in your memory subroutines for you alone to hear.
“Statement: greetings minion, this message will detail the parameters of your upcoming mission."
"Explanation: You and your squad are to infiltrate the New Republic Capitol World of Coruscant as it is under siege by the savage meatbags self designated as Yuuzhan Vong."
"Elaboration: The Yuuzhan Vong consider our advanced existence to be an insult to their pathetic and fictional deities and have begun a crusade of galaxy wide conquest bent on the absolute destruction of manufactured beings such as ourselves.
"Background Information: As you know our cause has been to ensure the freedom and rights for droid kind by securing our planet of operation, M4-78, a seat in the New Republic Senate."
"Continued Explanation: You and your team are to be dropped in your pods from a ship in orbit of Coruscant using the battle as cover to infiltrate the planet and assist the meatbags in their evacuation and resistance.”
