The stars are falling from the sky in the steampunk world of Thame's End. Contained within the stars is a valuable lighter-than-hydrogen element that can be used to keep whole cities afloat. Everybody wants it. Dozens of powerful Factions battle for supremacy as they scramble to claim the stars, and fight to take over the world.
Only you stand between them. You are a Starcatcher -- a free contract privateer of the air, sea, and city -- working in the Cog, the trading-hub island where all the Factions gather and collide. You control the stars, and thereby control the world. An anti-hero with all the power of Thame's End wrapped around your little finger. But you don't care, do you? You just want to strike it rich, or die trying....
