- I'm a Physics PhD who's spent the 13 years since getting his PhD first as a post-doc, participating in the discovery that the expansion of our Universe is accelerating, then as a professor at a research institution in the US, then briefly for two years as a computer engineer at Linden Lab, and now as a professor at a new small liberal arts college in Canada.
(My citizenship is USA, and I was born there and lived there most of my life. However, I've lived in Canada for the last year, and hope to stay here forever more. As such, I lied a bit on the Nationality line below.) - Interests
- Gaming, of course! I'm also an amateur violinist and violist. I don't play in any community orchestras now, but did where I lived previously. I'm also an amateur actor, and have acted, staged managed, produced, and directed community productions. And, I'm a computer nerd, particularly of the Linux variety, and sort of an open source freak-case.
