- I did a fair bit of play-by-post long ago, then got involved with a couple of face-to-face groups, but find myself sometimes missing the sedate pace and generous narrative of text-based games. I favor games and systems which encourage flexible characters, easy roleplaying, and creative problem-solving: usually this means GURPS or Savage Worlds, though I've been playing a fair bit of FATE recently too.
