- First got into RPGs in the 1970s with AD&D and classic Traveller. Took a jaunt through Chaosium's BRP (Runequest and Call of Cthulhu) before spending several years as a player and GM in a regular face-to-face GURPS group. Returned to D&D in 3rd edition; entirely skipped the 3.5 update but dabbled in Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed / Evolved; currently run an irregular face-to-face game under 4th edition. Have long had an interest in the worlds, if not necessarily the mechanics, for Shadowrun, Ars Magica, 2300 AD, and Space:1889. Enjoy pseudo-historical settings like Castle Falkenstein, Fvlminata, and Clockwork & Chivalry. Recently intrigued by (and actively exploring) Savage Worlds.
