- I'm an visual artist and a writer. I think that one of the biggest points to these games is the writing involved, and the mechanics of the game are an unique way that lets you explore a world. I always say that you don't need to know mechanics to play, although you do need to understand your character and the rules that effect that. That's why you have a GM in the first place. I personally am very interested in game mechanics, though, and that's why I do it. I try and incorporate the philosophy of the mechanics so it complements the game, and I think that good intuitive mechanics become like an amazing physics engine for the narrative universe.
I myself live in Vancouver, BC, and I go to art school. But I am very poor, and so that's not pretentious. I am arrogant, though, which is sort of like pretentious, but that's just me not the school. - Interests
- Art, Games, Writing, Science, Politics, History, Nature, Reading and Storytelling, and the great ongoing debate as we as a species try and untangle the Universe. Also food and Gardening, which on this website isn't really relevant, but hey.
