- Biography
- I'm a middle-aged gamer who's been playing since the mid 80s. I fell in love with play-by-post gaming during my BBS days in the 90s and have been involved with it on and off ever since. Unfortunately, a certain MMO ensorcelled me and I gave up playing for a good six years, but now I'm trying to get back into it. Myth-Weavers certainly has its faults on a community level, but the layout and tools available really make it promising. I just hope to one day get into a long-lasting game with good people.
- Interests
- Roleplaying games, obviously. My favorite setting is Shadowrun, but I don't care for how's it progressed in recent years (both rules- and story-wise). It's also the origin of my handle here. Dungeons & Dragons is the comfort food of the genre, and I'm a particular fan of the Planescape, Ravenloft, and Forgotten Realms setting. At least until they ruined them in 3rd edition. Beyond that, games like Mage, Changeling, and quirky ones like Macho Women with Guns are the main staples of my RPG fandom.
