About 6 feet tall. He sports a scruffy beard and hair of the color blue. He prefers camoflague clothing. Cresent shaped scar on his forehead that on the right side of his head.

Short and to the point Castle is one who takes everything seriously. He does not buy into all the friendship and cooperation that permeates the mystique of Pokemon. He believes that if you go into a battle prepared for something then that battle is already won. He prefers to treat Pokemon as a subordinate in an army, he takes care of commands and they carry out those commands. He can be hard on his Pokemon but he truly believes that they are capable of incredible things.

Born in Ecruteak town Castle grew up in the shadow of the two towers. It was a town that loved its history and Castle enjoyed learning about history. The burned tower always drew his eye where the others enjoyed playing at the beautiful bell tower. When he was young he sneaked into the tower and fell through the floor. When they found him he was bleeding from his forehead because of the broken wood. The wood made his wood terribly infected but thanks to the high quality drugs of the pharmacy he was able to pull through. That accident left a scar that is with Malone to this day. When he reached the age of 16 he joined the army. After under going training with his new skill at battling he was put into the Pokemon collection squad. This squad was responsible for taking care of unruly wild Pokemon and supplying the rest of the army with Pokemon. It was during this time when Castle was at his happiest. Eventually however his term of service was up and he was sent home. He struggled to go back to living a daily schedule but suffered because of this. Eventually he wanted to relive his experiences so he began a book about surviving in the world he lived in. He called it the Johto Survival Guide. Not a creative name but it worked. He began to do dangerous survival experiments. He went swimming in the Lake of Rage. He climbed Mt. Silver. He jumped off Mt. Silver. Not all of his experiments were exactly sane or safe but he was willing to do anything to not go back to an ordinary life. After obtaining about 300 pages of a survival guide only about half of it useful in most situations he heard about a new region. That was when he decided to make something that would actually help people. He chose to go to the new region and make a book about it. He would need to find out what Pokemon lived there, what their customs were, etc. And so with nary a Pokemon to his name Castle Malone set out to find someone to take him to this new region.
