New Player, getting into Pathfinder
 

I'm a new player, new to these kinds of RPGs. The closest I've gotten to Pen and Paper RPG's is playing games based off of D&D rules, such as Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Neverwinter Nights.

Anyways, have been looking to get into my first game here on MW, and have already joined a game. I would like some judgement on my character though, seeing if I got things right or not.

Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Group: Good preferred.
Role: Royal Knight - Probably focusing more on exploration and security.

Description
A surreal air of silence and mystery emanates from this woodsman, the hood of his cloak hiding his fair features. The lower part of his face barely escapes the depths of the leather cloak, a smirk sneaking its way out. His long hair spills out down past his shoulders, almost shining in contrast with its pure white color. With a tilt of his head, his silvery eyes shine out from the darkness, deep in their knowledge and intensity, his gaze unwavering.

An ivory pommel peaking over his right shoulder, foreshadowing the lustrous black Falchion resting in its scabbard on his back. A darkwood composite longbow resting in a custom-made sheathe behind his left hip, a quiver resting behind his right hip. All added to his intimidating presence. Potential enemies usually never get the chance to see more than that. But, under the hood, sits a rather unremarkable man.

Hood drawn back reveals a youthful face, betraying his age and years of experience. His features are sharp, appearing quick-witted, almost mocking. A slight pointedness in his ears, his long bright hair, and his silvery eyes the only indications of his Elven bloodline.

Without the intimidating posture, Serith appears much smaller than the vibe gives off, only measuring up to 5'6", weighing only 130lbs. His skinny appearance, though, hides the strength behind his wiry muscles, corded through years of handling the power his longbow. His sharp features and serious expression almost comical when placed upon his small body.

Personality
Stoic and reserved, Serith is always quite serious with his actions, rarely taking action without purpose. When not taking things seriously, he has a quick wit and a dry sense of humor.

Serith is fiercely loyal to his kingdom, though not solely to his Sovereign. He believes that respect is not something to be given, but must be earned.

Rather than following the rules of society, he chooses to follow his own codes, his own sense of honor. That said, he never looks to draw attention to himself, never needing recognition from others.

Serith is also very aloof, grown suspicious through his years as a Ranger. Unless there is a need to make a scene, Serith chooses to blend in, not bring attention to himself. When possible, he will find himself a nondescript corner, hunker down, and inconspicuously observe his surroundings, using all his senses to gather as much information as possible.

Description
Standing at 5'11" at the shoulder, this Friesian horse lopes effortlessly over the terrain. Its black sheen a stark contrast to the colorful environment. Its muscles rippling under its coat, agile and elegant in its actions. Its blue eyes hinting at its intelligence buried within.

Wondering to see if I understand this properly and have the right spirit for this.

Grats on getting into a game. The best place to check first is with the GM of the game and the players in that game who may have suggestions for you. Pathfinder is a great system and there are normally up to a half-dozen going at any one time.

Also, don't be bashful in applying for more then one game at a time, most peeps on here are involved in three or more games at anytime with some idiots in over 10 at a time ...
