Shera stands 4'9 weighing in at 139 pounds. Her hair is strawberry blond and is weaved into a ponytail that reaches to her shoulder blades. Emerald green eyes set off a feminine, slender face. Her entire body is slender, though under slightly pale skin rests solid muscle. When not wearing armor which was basically when she wasn't too often considering her lifestyle she wore an emerald green tunic with a skirt that hit only to her mid thigh. Leather boots would rest on her feet in or out of her armor.

Friendly and fun loving she's more likely to be found in a tavern or looking over the local wares than she is to be found in skirmishes, but don't be fooled by her demeanor she can and will fight when she's needed. Especially against those whom wish to harm innocent people. She is quick to step in for those whom can't defend themselves. Due to her elven blood she does have the racial distaste for orcs as well as distaste for those whom have a love of battle or more appropriately conquest.

Shera was born into a family of duskblades. Thus her lot of life was sealed from her birth, though it's one she accepted with ardor. From an early age she was taught all the things a normal child was taught, but she was also taught about swordplay and armor.

At the age of 40 her combat training was traded for spell casting which took up more time in training than swordplay ever did. She had to learn how to cast intricate spells in armor. During her magic training she was lead out on softer missions. Mostly of defending her city against the orcs. During these missions she saw the chaos and destruction evil beings brought to those whom couldn't defend themselves. After a vicious attack on an orphanage by orcs she vowed to stop evil wherever she found it so no more innocents would be lost.

Finally the time came when it was time for her to strike out on her own. She wouldn't be a full fledged Leafdancer duskblade until she spent 50 years fighting out of the village. That was six years ago. She's still learning the ways of the duskblade, but she's gotten the better of several bandits. Now she's looking to join a group to help her gain renown and finally become a duskblade worthy of her family's illustrious name.

The tale of Kale Xilo:

Before we get to the topic of Kale Xilo, one must first get to better know his parents, one Milo Xilo and his 'lover' Sivain Amastacia.

Milo Xilo was a very well renowned thief and rogue in the dock-ridden town where he was harbored. Many tales went far and wide about him, from capturing many famed and infamous diamonds and gems, to wooing the hearts of many damsels, to even outsmarting some of the eldest of dragons and even out-riddling a copper dragon. . He did go further inland from time to time plying his...less than laudible trade all across the Kingdoms, making a great name for himself. Milo was something of a living legend, perhaps that is why Sivain was attracted to him.

Sivain Amastacia was, as far as Milo knew, a rather affluent elven noble with a taste for the dramatic, she was also eerily beautiful, likely why Milo was attracted to her in the first place. The two did not instantly fall in love, on the contrary it was more revulsion at first, as Milo found the woman, who was wandering the streets, to be trite, dull, and more than a bit haughty, while Sivain actually thought quite the opposite, as she was attracted to Milo very quickly, as he was not like any she had met before. And so she began to court the young human rogue, trying at first with flattery and gifts, but quickly finding that that wouldn’t work. Instead, being the naturally smart woman she was, she began to go into a life of crime, and even began to become a rival of Milo, her elven grace helping her to do so. This, unlike the prior attempts, did get Milo’s attention, and he slowly did begin to love her. The two were happy for some time, and then Sivain became pregnant. Milo instantly grew a bit ‘soft’ as he would call it, devoting more time to Sivain and the baby. As the pregnancy went on, however, Sivain became more and more distant. Finally, Sivain gave birth to a small, red-headed (much like his father) little boy. Milo named him Kale, after a good friend of his who had died much earlier. Unfortunately, once Sivain recovered her strength she, rather deftly, left Milo and Kale alone. Milo did not know why the woman he loved had left, but for the moment he was happy with his son and that was all that mattered to him.

Several years past and the young Kale sprung up like a weed, his father began to teach him his trade of roguery, and the young lad sucked it up eagerly, listening intently to the tales and repeating them to himself so to memorize them. The pair were happy for some time, until one day when Kale was returning home from errands, picking up some food, etc., when he discovered Milo on the floor, drenched in blood and with a large elven macahuitl sticking out of him. More than that, there was an elven man dressed in black leather standing over him, muttering to himself in elven

“Now where’s the boy?”

Kale had learned the language from his father earlier and had enough sense about him to quietly run off, leaving him alone once more. What Kale did not know at the time, was that his mother was indeed an elven noble, a noble with direct ties to the 'Emperor', and as such the family did not want any ‘embarrassments’ to be known or exist.

Kale then wandered the street for the next half decade, living by his wits and what little elven grace he had inherited. Unfortunately, where Kale lived, half-breeds were not looked well upon, especially by humans and worse yet elves. Both sides looked down on them as if they were inferior based on the other races blood that had tainted his veins... As such, Kale had gotten himself into many fights which he could not avoid, and watching his father die, had made him more than a little cracked, in regards to his personality. Kale currently, has been wandering about the land, plying his trade as an entertainer and also as a thief, for those who wished his services

Kale is quite talkative, almost to the point of annoyance at times. However, more often than not what he says is both intelligent and more often than not humorous. Kale is often an incorrigible prankster (and if told so, he would then promptly respond “Then don’t encourage me”) and also tries to be rather suave and dashing, making his something of a ladies man, however, Kale does not do well in relationships of any kind, always trying to keep a moderate emotional distance from people, left he be hurt again by their loss, or betrayal. Kale has a hard time being serious at all, and tries to stay away from serious things such as the death of a loved one or other such things which bring back his painful past. If his otherwise sociable demeanor is penetrated, one finds the thirteen year old boy, still trying to cope with the loss of his father, his family, and his safety.

"So what happened?"

"It was a misunderstanding officer"

"Bullshit boy...We know you stole those weapons from the armory, we've got several witnesses to prove it, not to mention this nice blade you got" he said lifting up the rapier that had the king's seal on it

"Such language, my poor virgin ears" he said, his tell tale ears hidden behind both his hair, and his hood. "Is it my fault that you guards cannot keep track of your own weaponry? I mean-"

"Shut the hell up Kale! All we want to know is how you did it, and who you sold them to?"

"Did what? Sold to what? You know those pronouns are tricky business"

"The KING'S weapons"

"The king's weapons are missing? You guys should get moving and look for them then" he said with a smirk

"Put him in a cell, maybe he'll be responsive" they said before throwing him, rather carelessly in. The truth of the matter was that Kale had done it, as he would gloat and admit elsewhere, though he certainly would not admit it the guards. He'd recieved word that some 'interested persons' were in the market for fine quality weaponry and Kale had made the deal easily and effortlessly, that was the easy part, the hard part was getting into the armory, which wasn't easy.

There was the hooker I had to pay off to the get first guard out of the way, then there was the...creative diplomacy used to tell the guard to take a nap...My fist still hurts from that 'un. After that it was merely a matter of hiding the body between shifts and break the lock which was conspicuously easy to break...I got what goods I needed...Getting out was the problem...Luckily the unconscious guard wore something around my size so I was able to walk out, with some of the weapons in the armor...still have some cuts in unmentionable areas from that...he thought looking at his cage, pondering the possible ways to escape
