Personality Traits �Jack� is a friendly soul who likes to help people who are down on their luck. At times he may appear to be na�ve, but he really isn�t. He just wants to believe that people are good. This makes him extremely loyal to close friends; once you have earned Jack�s trust, it is nearly impossible to lose it.	Mannerisms and Appearance Jack keeps his strawberry blonde hair cur extremely short and similarly keeps a tightly trimmed goatee and mustache. He has soft blue eyes that glint green in the proper light. He is just under 6� tall and has an athletic build from the years of training tempered with study.

Background & Other Notes

Reginald Pemwald is the son of a wealthy merchant. His family hired any and all instructors they could to groom Reginald with the hopes that they could marry him off into nobility. Although Reginald never particularly cared for his parents� plan about his future, he thoroughly enjoyed learning everything he could. He studied with wizards, trained with fighters, hiked with rangers, and has even learned a trick or two from the Feywild.

The last instructor Reginald had was a roguish, charismatic man. Reginald only knew him as �Mr. Lee.� He was hired to instruct Reginald in reciting poetry and throwing daggers. Mr. Lee, however, could tell that Reginald was already well trained. He tried teaching Reginald a few other things, eventually calling Reginald a �jack-of-all trades.� So Mr. Lee made a great show of instructing Reginald in poetry recitation while throwing daggers but put true effort into teaching him other skills. He taught Reginald some �less than exactly legal� tricks.

As was the custom, a dinner was held in Mr. Lee�s honor and a long-winded toast was given by Reginald�s father. Everyone awoke from the effects of drug-laced wine the following morning. The only item of value left in the home was Mr. Lee�s payment, a bag of gold, with a note attached that thanked the family for their hospitality. As bedlam erupted within his family�s home, Reginald simply laughed. He laughed all the way to his room where he packed his few remaining belongings and set out to start his new life as �Jack.�

He has recently heard that the people of the Elsir Vale are hard pressed for heroes, and Jack is more than willing to answer that call.
