Personality
Timerk is a chronic kleptomaniac. It takes all of his self control to resist taking any small, unattended item. He refuses to let anyone handle his trinkets and will go to extreme lengths to protect them. Despite this flaw, Timerk is an outgoing and pleasant fellow like most of his fellow Besalisk. He enjoys a good game of sabacc and a cigarra as much as the next spacer. He isn't cruel and becomes noticeably uncomfortable when malicious acts are being committed in his presences. Timerk feels most comfortable behind the controls of a starship or with a hydrospanner in his hands and can be somewhat of a coward groundside unless defending his trinkets.
Description:
Timerk is rather bulky looking, even for a Besalisk. He wears old, cast off clothes that look like they haven't been cleaned for ages. A smell of body odor, dust, grease, and cigarra smoke drifts around him. Hanging from his side is a large pack that he guards vigilantly. It seems to have a bottomless supply of tools and gear, as well as scores of other trinkets that he has swiped in his time.

Timerk Jokar was raised on Tatooine near the spaceport of Mos Eisley. His father, a mechanic who did work for the local Hutt lord, was murdered when a ship he worked on was sabotaged by a rival crime lord. Timerk, who was merely a youngling at the time, soon found himself on the street with no place to turn. It was there on the streets on Mos Eisley that Timerk first developed his kleptomania. In order to survive, Timerk stole, begged, and scavenged for just over two years. Finally, he managed to stowaway on an outgoing transport where he found work as a cabin boy. Timerk travelled the galaxy going from crew to crew for many years. He worked for pirates, smugglers, and even a few legitimate merchants. He failed to stay on very long with any of them though, as each of the crews he worked for would soon notice the missing code cylinders, comlinks, and hydrospanners in their cabins. He soon found himself once again looking for work on some backwater planet.
