Personality Traits
Edge takes pleasure in his vices and is usually never out of a bit of the halfling leaf, even while out on the road. He doesn't mind a good stiff drink now and again when celebrating the capture of a mark. The half-orc is oddly enough very fond of dancing, and he usually makes attempts to learn the local dances of the various places he visits in Khorvaire. The trouble of course is finding a woman brave enough to dance with him.
Mannerisms and Appearance
Edge's face is cut in a perpetual glower. His mean expression is to keep away riffraff from bothering him, however if you ask anyone he's never actually been mean, unless of course you're one of his marks. Once past his hard facade, most find Edge's subtle and dry humor quite amenable and sociable. His streak of independence makes Edge hard to handle for those in charge of any operation he's a part of, but he is reliable and confident in his skills, even to the point of arrogance. Edge maintains his black hair short and is clean shaven except for long side burns. His skin is dark and leathery from days spent in the sun. He stands at at a solid 6'1" in height and while muscular, he manages to carry himself lithely. The half-orc is usually seen wearing a dark leather jacket, studded with blackened iron. The same studded pattern repeat themselves on his hardened leather armguards, pants, and boots. Edge never lets his twin daggers out of his sight and are commonly hidden from view.

Background & Other Notes
Galvedge Korvul grew up in the town of Graywall in eastern Droaam. By the time the Daughters of Sora Kell took control of the region, Galvedge was entering his teenage years and had just lost his father who had gone off to fight as mercenary for House Tharashk. His mother decided to pick up and move to the Great Crag, where workers were needed. It was there that Galvedge had started to learn life on the mean streets of the Crag. His father had taught him to handle a dagger and how to use his quickness and strength in a fight. Once the local gangs were aware of his aptitude they quickly took him into their fold making a proper scoundrel out the half-orc. Getting caught was never an option, especially in the Crag where what little justice there is is usually a sentence of death. Because of this, Galvedge's mother begged him to give up his life of thuggishness. It wasn't until she passed away of the wasting fever that Galvedge decided to change his path. He soon enlisted with Liondrake's Roar, and made off to fight in wars and battles far from the Great Crag and Droaam. His knack for subtlety and stealth as well as his quickness and strength placed Galvedge into a special service for the Liondrake's as a forward scout and saboteur for the Talons, an elite group of monstrous warriors specially ordered to take out specific marks and targets behind enemy lines. His time with the Talons earned him the nickname, "Edge," partly because of his affinity for light blades, but mostly because most of the monstrous races he served with had trouble pronouncing his name. It was only a few years into his service with the Talons that the Day of Mourning came to pass and a short while later Edge and the Talons were disbanded. The types of soldiers in the Talons however don't just disband, and soon many turned to banditry, raping and pillaging small towns and wealthy manors on their way back to Droaam. Unable to stomach this kind of living, Galvedge disappeared, leaving the other Talons to their own devices. Galvedge was in Wroat, when he was asked by members of House Tharashk who knew of the half-orcs skill to help with capturing war criminals. It seemed to be a move to challenge House Deneith now that the mercenary business was slowly beginning to fade. After a few missions Galvedge slowly came to realize that he was in fact mostly hunting down former members of the Talons and other such monstrous shock troopers that the Tharashk had lost control over. Perhaps he should have felt more remorse in rounding up some of his old comrades, but many of them had turned to a life of savagery that Edge could not bear to let go unpunished. That and money was too good. Dead or alive, Galvedge "Edge" Korvul would always bring in his bounty. Joining the Hidden Aegis A few months had passed since his last bounty and Edge found himself counting the coins in his purse wondering how much longer it would be before he would have to turn to prospecting in the Shadow Marches. Sharn was nothing the half-orc had expected it to be and he found himself moving from the inns and taverns of the middle district of Dura slowly downward. Tonight would be his last night in Hareth's Folly before having to make his way to Calleslan. It's raining. Again... Edge thought to himself as he swallowed down some warm mead before placing his pipe to his lips. "Oy, Edge! Another one?" the tavernkeep asked. Edge merely gestured and soon another mug was sent sliding across the bar towards the half-orc before being intercepted by a slight human woman in a rain soaked cloak. "Now look here lady, you don't want any trouble with me, so if you're smart you'll pass that mug on down," Edge rumbled at the woman. The woman pulled down her hood revealing a pale and beautiful face framed by damp red hair. "Or you'll do what Galvedge Korvul?" Edge stared at the woman, a slight growl escaping his throat. He remained composed as the human woman approached him and handed the mug over with a slight frown, "Isn't it a bit early for mead? Why its barely time for lunch." Edge took a drink from his mug, before addressing her concern, "Hmph... And what of it lady?" "My name is Kylara, not lady, since you so graciously asked..." "I didn't bother to. Besides you already seem to know my name," Edge interrupted as he stared at Kylara. "Indeed... Davix said you were bit, rough, to handle. Nonetheless I'm here to give you something." While the red haired woman opened her cloak to retrieve a scroll case at her hip, Edge caught sight of her wand and rod tucked into her belt. "Davix sent you here did he? He usually comes himself to give me bounties..." "Davix is dead actually. Poisoned, and a slow death too," Kylara said simply, "Before he passed he had some information for you. Unfortunately you aren't very easy to find. I hope I'm not too late." Edge watched the woman pull out two pieces of parchment from the scroll case. One was all too familiar to him, bounty orders all looked the same. The other bore the seal of the Sharn Watch. Edge read the piece quickly before he looked up at Kylara, "Rythisk is here?!?" Little surprised Edge. Little had the chance to. But Rythisk was bold to hiding out in Sharn. The gnoll had long been wanted, not for the crimes he committed during the war but rather for his deeds afterwards. Kylara nodded and moved in close with a look of concern on her face. She spoke quickly and in low tones, "He's in the Cogs. You have a writ that will allow you to capture him here within the city... He's doing it here you know. Children have been disappearing for weeks with no trace. It seems he has lost control of his appetite..." The red haired woman continued with what details she knew of Rythisk and where he might be found. "We figure he knows we're onto him. I would apprehend him myself, but Davix said I wasn't to try without you..." Edge left the rest of his mead on the bar and looked to the keep as he laid a few coins on the counter, "Watch my stuff Thom." The rogue made his way out onto the walkways, Kylara quickly after him. *** Kylara insisted on knowing what plans Edge had for capturing Rythisk as they approached the worn structure where the gnoll was believed to be hiding. "Plan? This writ says I can take him dead or alive, and I'll be damned if I bother bringing him in alive." Edge worked quickly, breaking in through the remains of a window and making his way into what once must have been a warehouse. Rythisk, muzzle caked in blood looked up from his bed of small bones. "I had hoped it would be you Edge. You've nearly rounded us all up little orc. But tell me scout, who will round you up?" Rythisk lunged at Edge, quickly pinning the rogue down. The two tumbled about drawing the attention of two other gnolls. Kylara made little of them when the crashing sound of Edge being thrown through an old wall turned her around. Rythisk was quickly on top of the red haired woman, clawing at her. Kylara could only barely blind the gnoll keeping him at bay when Rythisk suddenly went limp and collapsed on the floor, twin daggers protruding from his back. Edge wiped his own blood from his mouth before helping Kylara to her feet. "Quickly, the poison will only keep him down for so long..." *** Edge sat up from his bed and stretched. His back was still a bit sore from being thrown into the wall. Rest would do him good, especially now that his purse was fat again. He packed a pipe full of leaf and sat back down on the bed. It had finally stopped raining, allowing the moon to shine in through the windows. Kylara stirred next to him and wrapped her arms around his stomach. "Edge, since you're awake I should tell you something... I don't work for House Tharashk." "I know. I couldn't find your mark." She smiled sheepishly and continued on, "I'm also here to see if you would be interested in a... special organization... We could use someone of your skill." Edge sent a ring of smoke out the window then looked down at the red haired woman, "Oh? And what skills would those be?" Kylara smiled up at the half-orc, "Davix said I would like you..."
