Description
The short, timid mage is covered in a brown robe clearly intended for someone larger. It's held up with suspenders and several belts; the sleeves rolling over the man's meager arms. He wears very large horn rimmed spectacles, the epitome of "anti pregnancy device", which he frequently has to push back up to the bridge of his nose.
Personality
Aloof, and utterly uninterested in the immediate gratifications life can offer, and would rather reread scrolls than chat with individuals his age. Or any age for that matter. Unless ofcourse to discuss real matters of arcane or historical interest. Ryouga is poorly mannered, and will very quickly relay discomfort or disinterest in a situation, which is very often. At the least, however, when Ryouga speaks, he knows what he's talking about.
Character Traits
Absent Minded: +1 to knowledge checks, but -1 to spot and listen checks. "Ooh! I think I see a rune etched in the floor!" "Ryouga! We're in COMBAT!" Spell Secret: As part of making Shield permanently extended, Ryouga took up a certain taboo: He may not wear the color purple.

Ryouga Tetsugami was born to a relatively wealthy family that practiced medicine and healing magic for ages. The youngest of 5 children and the runt of the litter, he decided not to follow in everyone else's footsteps, but still be respectable in the magical community. Thus why, at the age of 7, he decided to pursue arcane spell casting as a Wu Jen. His parents had mixed feelings on the manner, but agreed to fund his education as long as he recieved high marks. Determined to create the next great spell, Ryouga never strayed far from his books, and even went on to study scrolls in the illustrious library of Master Yuan Wei and impressing even he with such fantastic displays of arcane might. And then the worst news that could ever befall poor Ryouga. He was shown the bill for his arcane research. Surely bat guano and sulphur cannot be that hard to come by! And Black Onyx gems? Illegal? Since when? And what buisness is it of the Magistrate if a few animal skeletons are reanimated? "A foul curse on this pointless bureaucratic fiddle fuss!" exclamated the mageling. Upon seeing this, Master Yuan decided it was time to encourage Ryouga to get out in the real world and explore magic casting in the unexplored wilds. To more "broaden his horizons" as it was stated. Ryouga (or Yugi for short) now has to put up with characters whom are sure to be the most uneducated, barbaric, mentally unstable brutes the rest of the kingdom could produce.
