Like many of the Fey, Lutvar remembers the Before Time, before the people had to flee their world and dwell in the artifical ships that he feels are an abomination and proof that the people have fallen in disfavour with the gods. Lutvar lives in the rather cramped dormitory of the small Temple of Bahamut on one of the slumships. He and his fellow brethern attempt to aid and help those living in the slums, but it has proven difficult as battle lines have been drawn between the different races. He is not without blame himself, resenting those born since their exile as he believes that only by repentance can the people have the god favour again and once more have a home world. His mother, father and younger sister perished in the Spellplague, Lutvar does not speak of them and blames their deaths on those who caused the Spellplague
