Lorem was born as son of a couple of travelling merchants. They never stayed too much in one place, because of that, travelling all over the silver marches, but this gave him the opportunity to know these lands and their wonders since young age, including the marvellous summer festivals of Silverymoon, one of his favourite events. But what always fascinated him had been… The planes. The other planes of existence. His favourite line of thoughts was: ‘If just in the Silver Marches there are these beautiful things, what about all Faerun? And what about the whole world? And all the other planes of existence?!’. He knew that the fastest way for a man to be able to travel trough the plane is to learn magic, be it arcane or divine. He eventually choose to begin studying to become a cleric. His parents were really surprised when he asked them to leave him in Silverymoon to study. They smiled and promised him that they would do so the next summer. But on their way to that place, travelling from Sundabar, when he was just 13, it happened. Their caravan. They travelled along another few merchants. A group of clerics of Talos attacked them. They destroyed everything, and left him a scar in the shape of two crossed thunders on his back. And he was the only survivor. Before falling unconscious, he asked his attackers why they had done that… And why they were not going to give him the finishing blow. They just answered that Talos loved destruction, and death was just something that happened, not something they pursued. When he got back to his senses, he began to think about what had happened, and he realized… Just what worshipping something or someone, in this case a god, could do to yourself… And the others. So, he took a decision. He would never worship a god or anyone else in his whole life. And he would pursue his dreams and objectives in another way… His way. And in the end, seven years later… He found a way that was very similar to his own one. On a little piece of paper stuck to a wall of a tavern in Sundabar.
