Background & Other Notes
Froth was born as the calf of the great shaman Blackhorn Strongheart. Knowledge of the birth came to Blackhorn through his spirit bear when the cub for the spirit bear was born in the foreign plane. This spirit, a large brown bear named Boulder, was instantly linked to the spirit that would eventually form in to Froth. Froth learned much about the tribal life from his father, the rituals that they perform and how to call upon his friend Boulder when in need of the companionship weather in battle or travel. Froth is now to the stage in his life where he must prove himself and is ready to start his quest to do so. There is one concern that Froth has kept inside. His view of the world, as well as Boulder, differ from those of their patriarchs. Froth has always wondered if the fact that his single black horn is opposite of the one his father has while Boulder has the same with his one front paw. While starting his life quest to find his place in the world he had a few encounters with creatures trying to defend their lands as he traveled through the Cairngorn Peaks. There was one stretch of a few days where he kept Boulder on this plane to stop the loneliness as well as the constant small attacks from the dweller of the peaks. One evening he was tired and rested but sent Boulder back to the spirit plane to do the same. Froth, completely tired, fell asleep with little for protection around him. When he awoke he was bound and an orc in front of him was carrying his gear while six orcs had him tied to a log by his hands a hooves and were dragging more than carrying him. Trying to figure a way out of this situation he hesitated to call Boulder knowing he had no way to help his friend when he did arrive on this plane. An orc noticing him awake now walked over and beat him with a club until he passed out again. The next time he awoke he was in a cave bound again but not hanging from the log. there were a few others around him now as well, humans that he had heard about but had never encountered before in his homeland. As the days have gone by creatures would come in with rotten food. The humans would eat the food so froth did the same to help keep his strength up. Soon the humans were led away one at a time and never seen again and froth was starting to wonder when his time would come and what the kobolds were doing with the humans. The one thing he thought odd was that it appeared the gear from everyone that had been captured was in a pile in the room with him. He now sits biding his time for the moment when he can call upon Boulder and free himself fro his captors.
