Phase One
Ondine was born into a large family of Halfling cooks in Cyre, but baking with mundane materials never sat well with her and her relationship with her family was always a tad strained. For a long time she wished she born human so could have joined House Cannith and so learn all there was about making magical items, later she realized that even that wouldn’t have gained her membership without a Dragonmark. With that particular pipe dream out of her system she turned inwards and discovered that she didn’t need any assistance to create some rather impressive magic items, some that even did what she had hoped they would. Lack of raw resources stymied her more than anything else as the best materials were always allocated for the war effort. When she realized that enlisting would be the only way to access those materials it was an easy decision for her to apply for a place with the war artificers. She went in certain that her natural skill would soon mean she was doing much more than just enchanting arrows.

Phase Two
Ondine found the war artificers a surprisingly good fit for her. Though she never made the inner circle due to her race and lack of true loyalty to the cause her innate talent was noticed and put to good use. Though she developed many amazing creations her inability to design items easily usable by anyone but herself meant only a few ever made it to the actual war. She gained some measure of fame amongst the war artificers when she created the Aeron, a powerfully armed and armoured vehicle that was deemed to be so useful that they actually transferred her to operations so that they could make use of the vehicle that only she could successfully control. This was not to her liking and it was only then that she realised the full extent of what she had signed up for.

Phase Four
Title: Fix in Silver and Gold! Ondine provides a distraction for Fix in the form of smashing The Flying Aeron into one the of the Flamekeep turrets. It worked perfectly but everyone wondered why she hadn’t chosen to target something a little less sturdy, like the huge glass atrium next to the tower.

Personality / Description
Brilliant green eyes are Ondine's best feature. The rest of her face is on the pleasant side of average. She keeps her hair short, the strands that show signs of being burnt inform the observant that this might not be a fashion choice. Her body is healthy but a tad too boyish. Ondine puts some effort in appearing to look like a regular Halfling though her poorly thought out efforts rarely pay off. Though she has chosen to wear light leather armor, like many Halfling nomads, the iron, copper and brass studs she has covered it with make her look like a glittering gem when she is in bright light.
