Fit but wiry; the body of a gymnast. Short, functional ash-blonde hair and blue eyes are unusual against features that allude to a mixed heritage. Indeed, it's easy to look at Allan and consider him different than one's own ethnicity without being able to pinpoint what ethnicity he is. Prefers loose but not baggy clothes, plain and durable.

Born in Hawaii, Allan was used to moving around often due to his father's job that relocated the family every few years. Learning new cities became second nature, though making friends became difficult. Always the new kid, never sure how long he'd be anywhere. He found some semblance of belonging after his parents divorced and his mother took him to live in New York. The divorce, however, wasn't easy for him. Naturally bright and intrigued with the city, Allan grew bored of school. Ditching was common, and though he was scolded, he was labeled a troubled teen and slipped through the cracks. In truth, he spent his time making his own studies, particularly among parkour enthusiasts and self-taught martial artists; streetfighters in many senses of the word. Movement was freedom. While the kids he hung out with were largely peaceful, keeping their sparring and parkour self-contained, they had the outward appearance of a gang. Trouble brewed between actual gangs, and later the police. Things became difficult; Allan dropped out of high school all together and his group was eventually disbanded; killed, arrested, afraid or otherwise. His own situation becoming desperate as his mom disowned him, Allan became a mule for one of the local drug dealers. His sense of the city and ability to move, almost supernatural to anyone observing him, made him a natural, not to mention his being a minor. Usually it kept him local, but he'd occasionally be used to run outside the city, then the state. On one such run, things went poorly. The police were there to bust a deal. Allan escaped only by hopping a train, not knowing where it was going or what he'd do. Hours spent on the train gave him time to assess his life. This wasn't what he'd wanted, but it'd been necessary. But here he was, a run-away, without any ID, money or place to go. The train eventually stopped in Detroit. For a few years, he got by. Honest work when he could find it, petty theft and panhandling when he had to. Homeless and broke, his freedom to move was the only thing that kept him sane. It wasn't until The Room found him, offered him a steady job that could utilize his talents and teach him the secret behind his abilities that Allan found purpose in life; guidance and stability he'd desired for a long, long time, even if it was the strange sort.
