Description
Johan is tall, like most Drenhiemers, though not as broad as some. He has a scar on his left cheek from a ship building accident when he was a child.
Personality
Johan is relatively easy going, but dislikes authority. He did what he had to do for five years in the Queen's Navy to avoid the hangman's noose. His skill earned him a rating as Carpenter's Mate, but the increased pay wasn't enough to convince him stay in the service.
Character Traits
Johan likes to work with his hands, and has always had a curious streak.
Character Flaws
Johan grew up in a pirate village, and was captured by the Queen's forces on his first raid. Faced with the choice of the noose or a term in her majesty's Navy, he chose the latter. For five years, he bore a Mark of Justice holding him to this oath. Having seen the results of an activated Mark, Johan has a healthy respect magic.
