She is their wizard and its part of her very identity despite the theological differences of opinion. From that her magic has a decidedly holy flare to it often attempting to emulate the miracles of lore. [B]Compulsion:[/B] She will fight for her people tooth and nail, threaten it and you may find yourself on the end of a particularly nasty curse.[/ooc] [b][size="3"]Trouble[/size][/b] [ooc=Raised Some Heads and Lopped Some Off][B]Invocation:[/B] Molly has made a splash on her first night as warden. Where before she barely kept black court and the city ghouls in check, she has proven the full depth of her ability. There are now a fare few entities in town now that will want to earn her favor or avoid her wrath given their very natures will put her own their path. [b]Compulsion:[/b] With Cynass officially off Earth's invite list and gutted with a single spell, the supernatural world now knows that NYC's newest Warden could do the same to others. Some will seek to use her as weapon against their foes while others might just like to see her DED.[/ooc] [b][size="3"]Other Aspects[/size][/b] [ooc=Definitely not a Muggle!][B]Invocation:[/B] Molly was, if not born, raised knowing magic and its through that she has a unique perspective and a great aptitude in manipulating the mechanics of it in ways other people may not have thought of. [B]Compulsion:[/B] She takes many of the qualities of her life for granted in that she's always had what she's had. Though she has had to work to maintain them its almost effortless to do so. Take them away and it would be as if you pulled the carpet out from underneath her.[/ooc] [ooc=Eldritch Citizen of the Vatican][B]Invocation:[/B] Molly has been afforded a very unusual place within the Roman Catholic Church. She literally is a citizen of Vatican City, passport and all. Though not widely publicized this gives is a level access that few could dream of and number of contacts within the organization the others would never meet. [B]Compulsion:[/B] On the flip side however, she is perhaps for the rest of her life, on call. If she's needed she will have to answer the call. Though usually this is a matter relating to a particularly unruly spirit, possession or identifying a magical artifact and determining whether or not it truly has a religious value. That does not mean that the call can't be much much more dire.[/ooc] [ooc=Experimentation is my Middle Name][B]Invocation:[/B] Or at least Experimenter of God, it decidedly has an angelic quality to it, and with it she has learned long and hard about the value of research and experimentation. If given even a few moments Molly can whip up a frightful and original working quickly. Though like some experiments the results can be unprecedented and decidedly unpredictable. [B]Compulsion:[/B] There is power in the name Hnsiinel, even with just that portion of it a strong tie to Molly can be found and formed... but perhaps even more importantly something much bigger is tied to both Molly and that middle name. [B]Alt. Compulsion:[/B] Even knowing her middle name will get her interest though its a bit heavy handed. You want something just claim you have knowledge of it and you'll have yourself a bargaining chip.[/ooc] [ooc=Eidetic Mind][B]Invocation:[/B] The mind of a wizard isn't something most people care to entertain in any fashion, Molly is no different. Her ability to retain knowledge is immense even if its not entirely understood at the moment of acquisition. With it she can carry anything she has ever been exposed to with her, whether it be bookish knowledge of passing information. Some suspect that it could be some form of lesser Sight while others think that it could just be the blooming of a prodigy. But when invoked she can call up details about any scene she's lived through from the clothing on people's backs to physical descriptions. And just as readily begin word for word recitation of complete chapters from books, or lyrics. This invocation is especially useful when making declarations on events that Molly has lived through. [B]Compel:[/B] Her abilities are central to her but they also cut just as hard as they give. With her the acquisition of knowledge is one of her own core impulses and whats more what is learned is seldom ever unlearned. Curiosity could kill her in the search and she will search regardless, or it could drive her mad if she learns the wrong things. [/ooc] [ooc=Unearthly Body of Youth][B]Invocation:[/B] Something about Molly has always been different. Its given her body that despite its size always seems to be in its prime of health, allowed her to perhaps go unnoticed and get into far more trouble than a twenty-three year old adult should possibly be able to get into on her own. But with it comes certain advantageous opportunities of playing to people's expectations or against them. Also she can fit through confined spaces with relative ease. [B]Compel:[/B] On the downside, American society has pesky laws restricting under-aged youths from accessing more adult forms of entertainment and activities. Even with proper ID many people will often question Molly's legality if they've never met her. Her personality doesn't exactly help the situation when someone accuses her of being a teenager still (when she's trying to act her age). As well as a book shaped holster like one would have for a gun that's book shaped. Also has a belt loop that looks like its designed for the Canon Rod. The belt looks rather well designed with enough spaces between the pouches and the like to accommodate in-field adaptations. A keen nose could easily sniff out a pungent smell of chalk and mint.[/ooc] [Ooc=Thaumaturgy Pouch]A small lunch-pale sized addition to Molly's belt, made from fresh hard leather. It contains an organized package of bookmark shaped paper strips, felt and ink pens, chalk sticks (multiple shades and colors), marbles, glue sticks, 20 birthday candles pack, lighter, matches, a bag of salt and other minor thaumaturgy items[/ooc] [ooc=Vatican Passport & Wallet]Something every religious wizard truly needs. The Sight may just be the cause for her abilities of perfect recall and the like. As a result her perspective through the sight is often warped by her perspective on the absolute existence of knowledge and her belief that everything exists in balance [b]Opening the Third Eye.[/b] You may use the Sight to fully open your third eye, with all of the risks and rewards that come with it. See page 223 for details on how the Sight works.[/ooc] [-0] [ooc=Soulgaze] Those who look upon Molly's soul often will get the impression of a naive youth standing upon a mountain of enemies with her power always brought to bare. For most this is often extremely jarring when the vision begins to age hundreds or thousands of years into the future with the ramifications of her life. [b]Soulgaze.[/b] You are subject to the uses and effects of Soulgaze as described on page 226.[/ooc] [-0] [ooc=Wizard's Constitution] As a Wizard there exists the potential for Molly to live hundreds of years. However somewhat worrysome is the fact that by the time she was turning fourteen her aging had already begun the slow down earlier than it would for most. Its often an annoyance that she puts up with when people begin to question the authenticity of her driver's license. [b]Total Recovery.[/b] You are able to recover from physical harm that would leave a normal person permanently damaged. You can recover totally from any consequence - excluding extreme physical ones - with no other excuse besides time; simply waiting long enough will eventually heal you completely. [b]Long Life.[/b] As a side-effect of her improved ability to recover from injury, your lifespan is significantly extended.[/ooc] [b][size="3"]Enchanted/Focus Items[/size][/b] [ooc=Book of the Cosmos](Thaumaturgy; Biomancy, Entropomancy; Complexity +1) [2 FI] Molly's pride and joy, this large tome which has long since been secured in steel clasps and silver framework; it is a self-made illuminated manuscript that is both a bible copied word from word of various biblical sources including the standard canonized books as well as some that the church has not officially approved of. Within it also are a number of spells concepts and the like. All of which are hand written or drawn. The its been leather bound and there seems to be evidence that is has been rebounded a number of times. Generally it can be seen chained to her belt and holstered to one of her many pockets.[/ooc] [ooc=Canon Rod](Evocation; Water; Offensive Control +1) [1 FI] A simple black stained wood walking stick with various inscriptions and drawings of various religious significance topped with and bottomed with silver and banded with steel.[/ooc] [ooc=Entropic Cascade Ring]A luck based storage and release type ring which to a degree manages Molly’s Technology hexing, though physical contact will still do away with most modern appliances, from this affect that most wizards exhibit Molly has stored her bad luck and weaponized it. [B]Spell Effect:[/B] A weapon: 4 water (entropy) attack based on Molly’s Lore of Great (+4). Creates a directional pulse of a basic entropy curse that affects whatever it impacts with. In generally causes odd phenomenon that wreaks havoc with whatever or whomever comes in contact with it.
