Personality / Description
Amongst elves, Beordir's brown hair and eyes are uncommon as most elves are more fair. His body is thin, but wiry with many years of martial practice evident in his stride and demeanor. Beordir is fairly fastidious in the way looks and lives. He definitely dresses for the occasion. His most common attire is a light blue linen doublet and green wool pants.He uses a robe of deep blue for more formal occasions. His demeanor is that of a student of arcane lore. Beordir is driven by a need to be involved in whatever community he is in. He readily volunteers be it standing sentry, training or scribing orders. On any task, Beordir is committed to achievement, trying always to surpass expectations. He works best when given a small piece of a strategic plan and the freedom to implement. He is able to plan rapidly even when surprised by external events. He is quick to understand difficulties and devise a plans to help. As a very practical person, his ideas are regularly viable. Unfortunately, he usually is not in a position of responsibility, so he has tendency to be seen as overstepping his bounds. This is already causing him trouble in the human lands. As a fairly young elf, Beordir is still searching for his place in the world. He continues to try to find a way to do the most good in the long term, but his methods often conflict this those around him. He is too straight-laced for the elven communities. His upbringing has made him too irreverent of local custom for regimented human communities.

Background & Other Notes
Beordir was born in the elven village of Sylviara. He stood out significantly from his peers because his father, Jorandil Greenleaf had left home immediately before he was born. Unfortunately, this a profound effect on his mother who went into mourning and never came out. He found home to be a place of great sadness. Like many elves, he was trained in martial and arcane aspects. While interested arcane effects, Beordir had little patience for the theoretical side of magic. Beordir approached other aspects of elven society in an active fashion as well. He joined the elven militia at a very early age and began hunting interlopers and the like. As Beordir's expertise grew, the value of using magic in combat came sharply into focus. While mana in the whole area had declined significantly since the elves first formed their settlement, judicious study could still make it mostly reliable. Beordir began to find the most peaceful place to contemplate and study was with Florganeri Hemenatarl Florganeri Hemenatarl had traveled Yrth before returning home to Sylviara. On his journey, he had converted to Christianity which he brought back to Sylviara. Under his tutelage, Beordir found peace in the Christian faith which stood as a strong contrast to the home he had known. The concept of redemption in Scripture launched Beordir on the first of his life's paths. Beordir believes that his father's betrayal can be redeemed and his mother can be shown happiness again. However, he will need to find the elf first. Packing a few belongings, he traveled north to Harkwood, that being the closest non-elven community, trying to find word of his father, blithely unaware of his half-siblings. He has since been intrigued by the tourney in town.
