Description
Birmiel has eyes green like a new spring oak leaf, dark brown hair like his mother and the high cheekbones of his father. He can be found wearing plain tunics of dark hunter green over his leather armor with a hood pulled up covering his slightly pointed ears and the silver ring he wears in his left earlobe. He wears sturdy brown leather pants and boots. He is always carrying his trusty longbow in his hand with a full quiver of arrows on his back. He wears a longsword in a worn brown leather scabbard on his left hip, angled forward for an easy draw with his right hand and on his right hip he carries a hunting knife that appears to have seen much use. He also carries his bedroll tied to a short bit of rope and his water skin.
Personality
Birmiel is a quiet man, fairly shy and not extremely outgoing which is probably why he feels more at peace with himself in the forests and swamps. He marvels at nature and soaks in everything he sees. He feels that life is only worth living if you can connect with the world around you. He loves to spend his days taking walks under the shade of the trees or leaning against an oak tree smoking his pipe and fishing. He loves all animals but understands the need to hunt them for food, however when he hunts and kills he does so with respect always saying a silent prayer to his god Obad-Hai.

Birmiel and his father Barailion lived a peaceful existence in the forests near Iron Hills Village with Brimiels mother, Fionessia and sister, Tamrael. Birmiel had grown up running the woods and playing with the animals of the wild. He cut his teeth on the stories his father taught him about the great hawks and the king bears. He climbed trees and swam in the streams enjoying his youth. As he got older his father taught him to hunt and explained to him the ways of the gods the two pledging their spiritual allegiance to Obad-Hai. Though both believed only Birmiels father was able to get a stronger magic with his deity and the forest around them, so Birmiel honed his tracking skills and his ability with the long bow. Birmiel spent his days roaming the wilderness outside of Iron Hill Village where his family made their home and longed for the ability to explore more of the world. His friends were the trees and his songs were sung by the birds. He wrapped himself up everyday in the sights, sounds and smells of the forests and brooks. He had leaned so much about the area around him but he knew that outside his own small corner of the world there was even more to learn and he wanted to see it all. When the wars with Grum Nagog began the pair made the decision to stay out of the struggle to the best of their ability. When Barillion went out hunting one day and never returned Birmiel made the attempt to find him. Utilizing his tracking skills he found his father's tracks and followed them into the trees. Hours he followed the trail, losing it at times and then finding it again. He heard noises before him and believing it to be his father he ran towards the sound only to find a group of foul monsters. He was overtaken by the enemies and knocked unconcious. When he finally came around he found he had been saved by a group of adventurers tasked with sneaking through the forests and bringing aid to the Iron Hills Village. Birmiel joined the group in order to rescue his father who had been captured. After an intense battle the Barailion and Birmiel were reunited. The task done Birmiel sees that even those trying to stay at peace will be brought into this battle and to protect his family he decides to accompany the group of traveler on their quest.
