*Custom Qualities & Drawbacks Memory Problems (long term/short term) Variable Mental Drawback This character has problems with the short term or long term memory recall, or worst still both may be impaired. For 1-point each the character's short term or long term memory is effected, which prevents them from remembering any information which they do not commonly rely on, such as your aunt (twice removed) Mable's birthday or what things you needed to pick up at the grocery store today. Other more commonly accessed or critically important information, like how to drive a car, remember the lyrics of your favourite song or who's life you're trying to save is generally unaffected. At the GM's discretion, this character may need to make a simple or difficult Intelligence test to remember uncommon information at relevant times, with a -1 to -5 penalty based on factors like how long it has been since they learnt or last used the information, or how complex the information was? Mental Problems (Asperger Syndrome) Variable Mental Drawback This character displays symptoms which can be charted on the autism spectrum and suggest a diagnosis of Aspergers. The character usually suffers in social awareness and empathy, but may excel in intellectual or otherwise complex pursuits. For each point in this drawback the character suffers a cumulative -1 penalty to Persuasion, Seduction and Smooth Talking tests, but gains a cumulative +1 bonus to any tests or task which require intense focus and concentration (at the GM's discretion). Strong Back 1-point Physical Quality Some characters are natural pack mules and those with this quality are no exception. When determining their maximum weight allowance and lifting capacity treat them as if their strength was 1 point higher. Additionally encumbrance levels change to occur at 75% to 150% for light encumbrance, 151% to 175% for medium encumbrance, and 176% up to 225% for heavy encumbrance, based on the increased weight allowance from this quality. **Custom Items (original source: http://texaszombie.com/colddeadhands.pdf) OC (Pepper) Spray Strength 5 toxin, Range 3/5/8/10/13, Cap 1-5, if the target fails their Contest against the toxin, they are affected as follows: +Damage is non-lethal, inflicting D8 (4) points of “temporary” damage per round of exposure. After leaving the area of effect the victim will continue to be affected by non-“damage” effected for 1D6X10 minutes. +Effects are blindness and disorientation (treat at Total Darkness). Additionally the victim will be wracked by nausea and dizziness for the duration of effect. +Damage is recovered at a rate of 1 Life Point per Constitution level per 10 minutes of rest.
