What was unique about your childhood? Levi moved around as a kid, his parents often transferring between companies. He was the perpetual new kid, only in town for a few months to a year. And then he packed up and left, blown away to the winds. After the first few times of uprooting his whole life, Levi started to reinvent himself each new locale. He joined different teams and clubs, fell in with new crowds, and did pretty much whatever struck him at the time under the (correct) belief that any sense of stability was only temporary. Levi has been in Naperville for two years now, but has never once felt truly at home, not even on the road. When and how did you cross paths with the mystical world? Levi has always had an inkling that the world of darkness existed, but never more than creepy feelings and suspicions. However, since manifesting as a Feral, he has come across a number of other shifters in various towns and cities across America. He has never been associated with an actual pack of werewolves, as older lycans seem to instinctively dislike him (and have felt justified when they caught him shifting). While living in California for eighth grade, Levi was good friends with another Feral, a girl named Sara who turned into a condor, with whom he went on many adventures. How did you meet your animal soul? Since early childhood, Levi has had recurring dreams of flight, which gradually evolved into dreams of himself as a dark bird. In the waking world, Levi has many memories of trips down long highways with birds overhead and crows pecking at carrion on the side of the road, as though they were waiting for him. He has always gotten along well with birds, even wild ones, but crows nest near him and let him get close without taking wing. Since the change, crows have taken to not simply living outside his home but to actually following him around like members of a flock. What was your First Change like? Levi's First Change happened shortly after his twelfth birthday while his parents were out of town. Great migration flocks of birds flew over his house all that week, each new flock calling to him louder than the last. Levi felt cramped and caged in his empty house and had visions of the wide open sky until he eventually through open a window and leaped out. Instead of hitting the ground, Levi changed into a huge crow and joined a great cloud of birds. The next day, he woke up in the branches of a tree outside down. Who taught you what you are? Levi has learned most of his shifter knowledge from the annals of the internet and faded library books. Some of his information has come from werewolves in fits of generosity (or relayed through Timmy). He's also pooled information with other shifters, like Sara, and remains in at least passing contact with many of them. However, the bulk of his experience has been self-taught or trial and error. How was your pack formed? Levi continues to insist that he is not part of the Naperville Central Pack, but is nevertheless closely associated with them. After helping Timmy with Cam's first change, and after the two pups bucked the authority of Meredith, Levi offered his assistance with anymore shifter problems. Do you keep a territory? Levi does not keep a real territory, but also does not particularly care for the boundaries set by werewolves. He roams wide while in primal form and flies the way other people take walks. As such, he has, unwittingly or otherwise, crossed into the territory of many packs, even when centered out of a suburb like Naperville. He does, however, have a secret retreat downtown on the rooftop of a vacant building. Levi keeps a spare change of clothes up there, along with a sleeping bag and a few other necessities for emergencies.
