Description
Dugger stands tall (as Dwarves go) and thin. He has large hands with thin, dextrous fingers. He is, in a word, unkept. It is not uncommon to find crumbs or bits of food in his short beard and his hair hangs to his shoulders lank and unwashed. He dresses in dark colors, browns and blacks and his clothing and armor are stained and frayed. His dark eyes, however, are bright and clever.
Personality
Dugger has spent a life wandering and his world view reflects this. He does not share the dour love of structure with most of his kin, preferring the open road and new mysteries waiting to be solved. He greatly wishes for a life of grand adventure, but in recent years has become a haunt of gaming tables and taprooms.

History: Born to a Dwarven pedlar, Ol' Lodger, and his wife Gurta, Dugger spent his first few decades of life wandering from settlement to settlement where his family served as tinkers, workmen, sellers of odd goods, and tailors. He was an only child and has travelled far on wagon; into the Dwarven settlementsx of the Lortmils, the human, gnome and dwarf settlements of the Kron Hills, even as far afoot as Verbobanc, Celene and the Wild Coast. His youth was filled with ancient tales of wonder, filling his head with tales of great adventure and dire danger. Ol' Lodger could spin a yarn and did so, inadvertently setting his boy on a path after dim dreams. Once Dugger came of age it wasn't several years before he set off on his own, leaving his mother, father, mules and wagon on paths the wander to this day. The reality, however, was far more pedestrian than the young Dwarf imagined it would be. He spent time serving as a cook in several taverns and even among a mercenary company on the Wild Coast, becoming proficient at gambling and putting his tinkering past to use as a trade and to ill begotten gains. Dugger had a mind for gadgets and gears and became especially skilled with locks. He did learn early on that the standard life for a Dwarf, locked into ancient tunnels and living a stoic existence did not suit him. He found the manner of structure and law in Dwarven communities confining and the lack of individual freedom restricting. He preferred the character of the Kron Hills or even the lowlands, although the rule of men could often feel as restrictive as that of Dwarf. In recent years Dugger has wandered from village to town, taking up odd jobs where he could to earn a living, and always on the lookout for a mystery to be solved and an opportunity to prove his salt. He's been left with games of cards or dice, gold gained only to be lost again.
