Description
Amongst elves, Angharad's brown hair and eyes are uncommon as most elves are more fair. Her body is thin, but wiry with many years of wandering evident in her stride and demeanor. Angharad is nominally aware of social conventions of appearance. She prefers traveling garb for most occasions. She takes care to repair or replace older gear before it looks too worn. When meeting with in more nobler persons, she chooses an unadorned linen robe of green that extends to her calves. She wears a hand-carved holy symbol devoted to Ehlorra at all occasions.
Personality
Angharad is still searching for her place in the world. She has spent so much of her life wandering that she is unlikely to settle in one place for long. She would probably join a gypsy clan or caravan family readily. On a given task, she prefers to consider the outcome before beginning. Humans often perceive her as overly cautious. That is not precisely accurate, for when a well considered goal is shown to her, she will readily join the effort. She works best when given a generic role and given freedom to adapt as the situation changes. She is highly interested in methods for adapting civilization to the natural world and scornful of the sort of reckless harvesting of any resource that humans are so fond of. She will debate the role of civilized development for hours feeling out her ideals and trying to help other understand her point of hopes for the future of all life.

Angharad was born to a family of four in an elven village in the Broken Lands. Her older brother Lashkara had joined the militia’s ranger corps. She worshiped the ground he walked on and spent much of her youth following him around as much as she could. His commander recognized the need to provide guidance to her and so kept him in the local cadre. As she grew up, she began to explore the natural world around her with much greater independence. Her exploration launched her on the path to faith. She began to see divinity in every environment she explored. Eventually she joined the druidic sect as an acolyte. Angharad quickly discovered that the priesthood took her away from the natural world she loved so much and embroiled her in political interactions with leaders in the village. Much of her late youth was politicking in her home village and its immediate neighbors. After a number of years, this precipitated a crisis of faith. She began to question the effect the druids were having on the community as well as the truth of the doctrine of pristine woodlands. Eventually her questioning lead her to seek an unusual path for a druid. Angharad now believes that harmony with the natural world is possible even while expanding populations. Properly implemented, population expansion could also expand the natural world. She recognized that she would not be able convince anyone in the elven nation of her ideas. They were too radical for the xenophobes and too conservative for the local druids. So Angharad set out toward human lands trying to find a way to validate her understanding. From the trade outpost of Hingal, she found a ship bound for Arynn across the strait. She was able to barter ships passage by offering her services as a healer. It took her three days of seasickness before she aclimated. By the time the ship make landfall at Gray Watch Keep for resupply, she had served the company well. She took her leave in spite on the crews dismay. And here she thought they were just worried to lose a good healer? She must have stuck out, 'cause they arrested her for vagrancy. Her insistance that she was happy to move on did not mollify the guards. Her wolf, Coli, managed to slp away, but he is unwilling too stray too far hoping she'll turn up.....
