Description
Lilith grew up in the poorer part of the Elven village of Ashard. His mother died during his birth, being a weak woman.His father did his best to provide for him but times were hard. One day the Elven enforcers showed up to his door and took his father away on charges of smuggling Elven goods to a nearby human village which was strictly prohibited at the time. As his father was being taken he slipped Lilith a pendant and whispered to him "Follow the path". Lilith knew he had to now leave the village with almost no way to provide for himself and the possibility of him being detained as well. After gathering what food and money he had into a sac Lilith wondered what his father had meant by "Follow the path" and took out the pendant.He looked carefully at his fathers last memento.On it he saw a face with a yin and yang symbol surrounding a curved smile on the pendant and felt a very slight but strange force from it. Not knowing what to make of it he put it around his neck and started to sneak out of the village. During his escape however he felt as if something was very slightly guiding him. He noticed slightly better places to hide, what paths would make less noise to avoid detection and what moments to make his move to escape. Once clear of Ashard he looked at the pendant once again and knew that it was guiding him and keeping him out of danger. He also now realized that this pendant held some greater secrets and that by discovering them he would discover the path his father had mentioned. Seeking knowledge he headed for the nearby city of Casea where one was sure to find an answer to a question if he looked hard enough. He stopped at various small villages along the way buying supplies and equipment but with the small amount of money he had he was not able to buy everything he needed. Through this he learned the basics of stealing and the starting traits of being a rogue.
Personality
While not incredibly intelligent or charismatic, due to age Lilith is wiser than most people. He also has a distaste for lawlike figures due to the incident with his father and tends to simply do as he pleases. However, this does not make him evil as he does not kill without reason and will never steal from the poor.
Character Traits
Tall and slender Lilith is like his mother with a very light physique. However he makes up for it with his incredible agility and dexterity that is rare even among elves.
Character Flaws
While he is a rogue he still has lingering compassion that can sometimes lead him to be too soft. Also he will always refuse to be detained and will do whatever is necessary to avoid it even if it means killing. The only way he will cooperate to being detained is if it is part of a plan or resistance will lead to his certain death. Even so, he will be extremely hesitant and will take any opportunity to escape if he sees one. This stems from the scar left behind when his father was taken away. Also Lilith will refuse to wear any other pendant other than his fathers as it is his most precious possession.
Contacts / Friends
The inner members of the worshipers of Olidammara would recognize his pendant as one of the markings of their cult. The human citizens of the village near Ashard would know him because of his father trading supplies with them.
Enemies
The Village of Ashard is considered his enemy, although with their strict rules, the elves of the village would not venture very far outside its gates in search of Lilith.
