Description
Terrenus is 5'11" and weighs 180lbs. His body is well-built and muscular, however he moves with a grace that is surprising considering his size. He has short, jet-black hair and he always keeps a clean-shaven face. His eyes are the most striking facial feature: one is emerald green while the other is platinum silver; they both betray a keen intellect. When he speaks his voice is soft but confident, calm but determined and more often that not you will see him smiling. For those who notice, his accent indicates his Andoran upbringing.
Personality
Terrenus is a good person who believes that change can happen from inside the system. He believes that law and order are important for a society to function and for people to live in a safe environment that allows them to grow and develop. However, he will always put what is Good and Fair and Just above what is Lawful . As a result, he has often teetered on the edge of what was considered acceptable by his instructors in the paladin order. Thankfully the strength of his convictions, his unshakable faith to Iomedae as well as his adherence to the paladin code have kept him from any fall from grace. In addition, his fellow paladins would always compliment Terrenus' loyalty towards his companions as well as his willingness to risk himself for the good of the group. However, they would also mention that he was prone to occasional bouts of introspection, where he would keep to himself for days on end, lost in personal reflection.

Terrenus is the son of Andrethos and Dimue Lannal, an affluent merchant family that escaped to Andoran, after being ousted from Magnimar due to the plotting of a rival family. Terrenus' family spared no expense in their son's upbringing. He was being groomed to take over the family merchant business, and even hoped that might even become a master of the arcane, just as Dimue was. He was taught literature, mathematics, the art of negotiation as well as studied arcane textbooks. Terrenus himself, however, showed a more personal interest in the divine. He would spend hours studying Iomedae's Acts and would not miss an opportunity to spend time with the family caravan guards and train in the martial arts. His favorite weapon was a nodachi, a birthday gift to Terrenus from one of the family's long-standing clients that traded with the East. Andrethos, although displeased, would allow the boy to indulge these hobbies of his partly because of the need for a well-rounded education, but also because he thought that Terrenus would eventually outgrow them. However, everything would change on the day of Terrenus' 18th birthday. The night before, Terrenus had a dream that would change his life forever: He saw Iomedae's holy symbol floating above a summer field of golden wheat, while a female voice spoke: "Terrenus you are a free man and may choose any path you wish, however know that the Inheritor is calling for you. Choose as you see fit!" He woke up, drenched in sweat but also with a clarity of mind and purpose that he had not known before. On the day of his birthday, as of his coming-of-age he was expected to officially take over part of the family business. However, Terrenus calmly explained to his father and mother that he was a higher calling and as a result he would not be able to fulfill his father's plans for him. Enraged, Andrethos ordered his son confined to his quarters until he decided to "see reason". At dawn of the next morning, Dimue secretly escorted Terrenus at the gate of the family estate. With tears in her eyes, she bade her son farewell, giving him her blessing, his nodachi and a locket with a picture of herself and of his father. Taking one last look at his home, he turned around and headed away. A few days later, he arrived at a temple of Iomedae, where he requested to join the paladin order, and eventually found himself in Absalom, working for the Pathfinder Society.
