Description
Description The epitome of dwarven stability, Glandin Stonewhisper personifies solidity. Gruff, expressionless and implacable, his words are terse and his attitude uncompromising. His weathered face displays as much emotion as rough-hewn stone, and with his iron-hard determination makes him seem heartless and uncaring. In truth, Glandin works tirelessly to the betterment of the dwarven race - as he sees it. His experiences have taught him, however, that only be becoming as strong as the earth itself can he hope to achieve what he must.
Personality
Background A wise man, lorekeeper and shaman, Glandin was well-respected by his clan, but his strict views were not followed by all. Glandin did what needed to be done, no matter the cost, and as dissent grew between himself and certain other members of the clan, he felt the need to leave. He hopes that he can pursue his own aims, furthering the cause of the dwarves from afar and developing the perfect code from which to build a nation. Glandin has been granted visions of the future... disturbing vision, a "gift" which most would rather not have. He knows that the time of change is nigh, and will do what he must to ensure that his people ride the crest of the wave rather than being swept away. Glandin does not think he is ready to lead his people to the future, or that they are ready to be lead, and so for the time he remains in his self-imposed exile, allowing them to mature and collecting the experiences he will need to make his vision of dwarven magnificence a reality.
