Ramzen the halfling had a rough and tumble sort of life growing up in Waterdeep. It wasn't that he was a troublemaker, he just happened to attract trouble. Some people found him too charming, others too bold, some just saw an easy mark. After a number of fights and narrow escapes, he began to feel a sort of sixth sense about his place in the world around him. Not how he fit into society, but the specific space he occupied. As he focused on this sensation, he found that he was able to change that position to a degree. With more practice, he learned how to make 'jumps' across great distances. With this new skill, he was able to gain the upper hand in the troubles life dealt to him. He could outmaneuver anyone in a single fight. If things became too dangerous, he could just 'jump' away. He began to stand out because of this, and people with connections took notice. He was propositioned to join a few men on their bounty hunts. It would bring in some money, do some good, and let him expand his skills. However, the group only seemed to hunt small game. He soon grew bored and felt the urge for a more adventurous life. Ramzen has now broken away from the group and is looking for bigger work.
