Generally suspicious of strangers, trust is not earned quickly but once given is solid. Thandrim has a kindness streak that he does not let out as often as he could, a result of the bitter fighting during the Clone Wars. Businesslike and steady in public, private moments can offer a more pointed look into a soul that has lost it's innocence but wishes otherwise.
Description:
Sporting red hair and brown eyes, Thandrim stands a little below six feet in height. He moves with the hint of someone used to firefights occurring often, though it is more wariness than paranoia. Far from a mountain of muscle, the human male still has a soldier's fitness. Not to mention a veteran's look.

Prior to the Clone Wars, Thandrim was a young man seeking adventure in his little corner of the galaxy. Loosely affiliated with the armed forces of the planet Telos, the human spent his time doing small duties dirt-side and in space as the situations called for it. Even at this time however, discussion was common about the rampant corruption in the Galactic Senate. Thandrim was one of countless people who began to see the Republic as a rotted structure that would either collapse from the inside, or end up spreading it's corruption to every star system in the galaxy. As a result when the Clone Wars broke out, it was on the Separatist side that Thandrim began the war. Fighting for the ideals of freedom from tyrannical governments and with promises of a better galaxy once true independence from the Republic was achieved. This idealism died in the fighting that followed. It was not merely the horrors of battle that knocked the shine off of the ideas Thandrim joined up for. It was also the priorities of the Separatist leaders as he saw them. Atrocities committed for little reason and sometimes for no reason. Two incidents in particular shattered Thandrim's dreams of what the Separatists would do, and along with interactions with Republic prisoners these things finally turned the emerging soldier against his own leaders. Thandrim became a traitor when he slipped away from his most recent 'organic' fighting unit alone to seek out a Republic strike team rumored to be operating in his area. The team was in truth headed up by a Jedi Knight aided by three Antarian Rangers who were gracious enough not to kill the Separatist traitor when he stumbled across them, finding the four of them through more luck than skill, or perhaps the Force. As a prisoner there, Thandrim was only reinforced in his decision to abandon the Separatist movement during his conversations with the Jedi and her team. Fighting for the wrong side did not sit well with Thandrim, and though he wanted to immediately do more than give away intel to help the Jedi achieve her mission it was all he was allowed to do for some time. Eventually he was allowed to fight again, now under Republic colors though watched for signs of treachery. Now however Thandrim fought harder than ever, both to prove himself and knowing that he was backing the right side. Imperfect certainly, but better than what the Separatists really seemed to have in mind. Above all he began dedicating his ideological loyalty to the Jedi more than any government. Jedi after all had strict rules for themselves, but valued freedom for others greatly. This made the end of the war and the reformation of the Republic into a Galactic Empire all the more painful for Thandrim, who now had not only betrayed the largest military force opposing the new empire, but had fought to bring that empire into existence. In the subsequent weeks, Thandrim joined a few other like-minded individuals within the ranks of the now hunted Antarian Rangers seeking to find and aid Jedi where they could. On Gentes they ran into trouble pursuing a lead that only lead to a trap but were rescued by the first Jedi of any flavor that Thandrim had seen since Order 66. Working with this young Altisian Jedi named Kaliara they were able to slip away from the planet to some relative safety. A habit developed in the immediate aftermath, as each time Kaliara was to leave their hiding place on a mission she would find Thandrim waiting at her ship ready to join her. Not exactly requested but not actually refused either the soldier has accompanied and supported the Jedi on her other missions, minor as they have been so far.
