Thalo was never much liked fighting. He preferred to solve problems through words rather then the lightsaber. This may have had to do with that he always struggled during lightsaber instruction. However, when he started to train in the unarmed martial arts, he found that he enjoyed this very much. He did not like it for the fighting aspect, rather, he liked it because he found it to be a good form of mediation.

Thalo Wain's parent gave him to the Jedi before he turned one. He does not even know what Iridoria looks like. He does not feel like he does not have a family or that he missed out on anything. His greatest desire is to be a Jedi and his family is his master, Ral Nabeshin, and the rest of the Jedi. Thalo is now waiting at a space port just outside the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He looks up into the sky as his master ship approaches. Then Thalo senses something has good wrong when he feels his master�s surprise through the force. Two clone star fighters fall in to attack position behind his master�s ship. They open fire and Ral�s ship explodes into a ball of flame before his master could even react. Thalo turns in the direction of the Temple in a panic only to see large columns of smoke coming from it. Unsure of what to do and frozen in panic, despite his training, or what seemed like hours but was just minutes. He then received an automated message on his comm. telling all Jedi to return to the temple. Thalo could have taken an air taxi, but he decided to walk and try and think of what has happen. When he is almost to the Temple he sees a patrol of three clone troops. He remembered that clone star fighters killed his master and Thalo approaches them with caution. As he approached the troopers noticed him and he felt their ill intent before they could draw up their rifles. Thalo quickly went to a turbo lift and took it as far down as he could. Then he got on another one and went down even more. He had never been to the lower cities but he knew he would have some time to think before the troopers came down this low. As he was walking around the lower city he received another automated message, this one from Master Kenobi, telling all Jedi to not return to the temple and to hide. Thalo had know idea what to make of this. Jedi were supposed to be the protectors of the galaxy, not the outcasts! He has to blend in now and hide the fact that he is Jedi. He traded his robes with a down on his luck being. The closes where soiled and stank, but right now it was better then the Jedi robes. The next the he had to do was to get off Coruscant. With his new disguises he heads back up to the upper levels and heads for the closest spaceport. He did not have much money, but maybe he could stow away on some ship. At the spaceport entrance, however, there are more troopers searching everyone that comes in. If they find his light saber they will know he is Jedi. Thalo dumps the saber and heads for the entrance. He feels like he his home free when he passes the entrance without trouble. Thalo is sitting on a spaceport bench trying to think of how to get onto a ship when he sees three armed being approaching him, bounty hunters! Thalo stands and tries to head to the exit, but it is blocked by another armed being. All four level their blasters at him. Then one of them says, �It�s over�.Jedi!�
