Personality / Description
Johnny is an attractive, youthful-looking boy with bottomless clear blue eyes and tousled dark hair. His face is white and smooth, and he has a girl's mouth, full pale lips. His face is generally empty: he wears a patient, frank expression, as if he's waiting for something to happen to him. Probably for whoever he's talking to to either try and sleep with him or try and hurt him. There's something vaguely unhealthy about him, at very least he's on the thin side, and his face is tired and drawn, like he hasn't gotten a good night's sleep in ages. He has a few minor scars here and there, but the most conspicuous is on his stomach, where "an idiot Latin King who needed drug money" (as Johnny likes to put it) mugged him and stabbed him a few years back. He's still surprised he survived that. Inwardly, he's dissatisfied and insecure, and he overcompensates for that. He parties hard, loses his temper easily, and his favorite defense mechanism is a pitch-black sense of gallows humor. He has a bad habit of playing up his childishness, his immaturity and ignorance, clinging to the adolescence he's losing fast. It doesn't really work - anyone who knows him for a little while figures out that he's a bright kid and a lot wiser than he lets on. And it's not hard to be his friend. Johnny loves people, has surprising insight into their inner workings, and is genuinely interested in others' lives, making him the first person you should go to if you want a friendly ear and a little advice.

Johnny Ricci was born into a family of renowned luthiers who had recently transplanted themselves to the Land of Opportunity, where they had proceeded to become a family of renowned taxi drivers, janitors, and welfare recipients. They did their best with Johnny, they really did, and at very least they gave him an astounding musical education. Still, what with one thing or another he burnt all this bridges with them and is now an indigent dropout, living on his own since he was fifteen. He is quite comfortable living wherever he feels like and making money doing the kind of things a young, good-looking, morally casual teenager does when he can't get a real job. Sure, he had the vague idea that he would have left the life by now, but whatever. He's young, he's beautiful, he has incredible seductive power. When he's out there working, he's not just some unemployed loser. He's a fetish object, a fantasy come to life. Grown men will break laws just to spend an hour with him. It makes him feel so cool. Why complain?
