More to come...
Seven feet tall and almost three hundred pounds of muscle and hair, Megara is an intimidating sight even to the orcs of his homeland. He has dark skin, groomed black hair and beard, and deep green eyes that show more intelligence than his ancestors. His equipment is kept clean and repaired whenever possible. Despite Megara's well-kept appearance, he lacks certain somethings that makes him a good face-man.
Lacking certain social graces he has long since considered useless, Megara is regardless kind in his own way. He rarely if ever says 'please' and 'thank you', and does not expect such courtesies from others. He will interrupt a conversation if he believes what he is saying is more important, and will not berate someone for doing the same. He is generous to those he thinks are deserving, and is especially kind to the homeless and downtrodden. He does not care for those who show arrogance, which often leads to unnecessary conflict.
He is honest to a point, but isn't above keeping things to himself if he believes that the information could prove dangerous if exposed.
Born of an ogress mother and a half-orc father, it was no wonder Megara's strength and toughness were superior to many of his fellows. While no one thought his physical characteristics strange, his mental faculties proved much more strange, considering neither of his parents were what one might call clever. Regardless, his keen mind was looked on as a boon to the community, and he was taught better than most of his generation.
Adept at many different languages, he was placed in the position of translator for some time. His militia duties were augmented by his intelligence, and he was successful on all fronts. As his adulthood continued, he was called away by the town's elders for an important meeting.
Megara was told that an old friend from away was interested in the talents he possessed and was asking if he would be interesting learning the arcane arts. As there were next to no wizards in or around town that he knew of, he had never thought about it before. However, he was indeed intrigued and agreed to travel to this 'friend' and see what he could learn. That was many years ago.
In his time away from home, he learned the arts of wizardry. Because of his impressive strength and combat training, he was taught to improve himself through spellcraft much less than overt shows of magical force. Transmutations became his focus more than anything, and his magically enhanced combat prowess showed through many times. His social skills, however, have deteriorated somewhat due to his environment and those studying with him.
Megara still has much to learn, and has decided to travel abroad in search of new spells and martial practices. His wanderings have lead him home, at least briefly. He had been away for so long; how had things changed?
Dipping into Havoc Mage and Eldritch Knight as soon as I can.
Most likely end would be Myrmidon 12/Havoc Mage 5/Eldritch Knight 3, assuming we get that far... Maybe less Myrmidon and more Eldritch Knight, but I haven't decided yet.

Elder Dragon
May 9 '10, 6:00pm
Name:
Dalt Norfest
Race:
Human
Gender:
Male
Age:
62
Class:
Ranger 2/Monk 1
FEATS/FLAWS
Subordinate:
Quintessential Aristocrat, pg 55
Old man with gray hair and blue eyes, wrapped up in a rag like a poncho... possibly wears pants.
Dalt is a senile old man, with little to no normal contact with civilization. He does as he wishes for the most part, but will jump to act when life is threatened beyond the normal scope of nature.(Killing to eat, etc.) He'll try to protect people and animals less fortunate than himself, when he realizes that he has more fortune, but makes no promises specifically since he'll likely forget smaller matters.
Dalt's interactions with society are few, as he grew up outside the regular confines of cities or towns. His preference towards solitude came from his mother who ran away from the stresses of turbulent city living. He has no real clues as to why he grew up in the wilds, but he enjoys it so much he's long since stopped caring for an answer. He travels only because it is more interesting than not traveling, and has nothing to bind him to any specific area anyway.
Splashing Monk for deflect arrows and more 1d6 damage, possible Beastmaster later for better birds.
Subordinate:
To come....
Crazy chick abandoned for now... too hard to figure out a story of a girl that's self-serving enough to steal money to kill herself in a manner to resurrect as an undieing beauty and still end up as "Good" somehow. I'm sure I'll figure it out later, but for now, Crazy Old Man!
