The dog made a huffing sound, possibly slightly offended at being shown up as a tracker by someone with a steampunk flashlight. It had to gall the canine spirit, with it's long and proud tradition of hunting down prey. A long and proud tradition currently foiled by Windex, admittedly.

Nevertheless the hulking German Shepherd followed Erin as she headed outside into the corridor, doing its own best to try and remain stealthy in the darkness. It was not as good as Erin at it, but it did a passable job.

Canine Sneaking

The blood trail was visible enough under the ultraviolet light, glowing eerie colors as they tracked through the dark museum. It was rather late, and the museum was quiet. Thus Erin and the dog met no one as they padded upstairs, past the storerooms and closets of the basement, into the main exhibit rooms. And from there, following the trail of the glowing blood, to the Curio Room.
