Okay, so here's an alternate character I'd like to play if Shingo doesn't make the cut. He'd be a craftsman/scholar type on whichever crew would fit him best. He ate the Hito-Hito no Mi, Model: Karitori-ki (Human-Human Fruit, Model: Reaper).
Deimos "The Reaper" Argyros
Deimos has an... intimidating aura about him to say the least. The feeling is strongest in his Reaper and Astral forms, but even in his base form, there is always something off about him. He has naturally ice blue eyes, though they glow a deep purple in his other forms. Similarly, his hair is always a light silver color, though the coloring gains an unnatural taint when he switches shapes.
He dresses in dark, loose robes and simple rope belts most of the time. Strapped to his left thigh is a small leather box filled to the brim with a notebook and numerous scrolls. Typically, however, observers don't even notice these other features, instead drawn to the ominous scythe in his hand, a scythe that glows the same color as his eyes.
The Reaper variant of the Hito-Hito no Mi, like all other Zoan Devil Fruit, allows the user access to another form and an intermediary form between the base and final forms. In Deimo's case, he gained enlightenment, becoming a creature of pure mental energy. This "Nightmare Form," as he calls it, has the ability to manipulate this energy in various ways, including telekinesis and mental blasts. What makes it a "nightmare," though, is the continual aura of fear that it projects.
However, it is the intermediate form, the "Reaper Form," that Deimos spends the most time in, since it allows him to manipulate objects. It has many of the same powers as his Nightmare Form, though altered slightly to match the more physical nature of the form. Specifically, his mental blasts become his trademark scythe of psychic energy. Even more useful, however, is the power his Reaper form gives him to "reap" knowledge from another's mind. Coupled with his own formidable intellect and those skills that he gained naturally, this ability allows him to know just about everything in those fields that interest him.
