Otherwisde, You see jumper, I see a person in one place, and then next they are about to fall into the middle of an ocean wearing a sixty ton block with the words ACNE written on it and dressed in a Tutu. It would take several months to gather all the resources, to the person playing the time controller, but to the opposing guy, it happens instantly.

If it was just space, it would most likely be alright, but time and space? Its like, someone chosing the mimic (Everything) power with the perception and continious extras slapped onto it. Seems to have a very large potential to be a *little* overpowered.

But yeah, other than that, seems like a neat character to play!

To throw in my two berri, I agree that the time part is what's contentious, space itself is powerful yeah, but if you limit what you can do to your perceptions it's not omfg broken but is instead an interesting power.

To be fair, I was just trying to be scientifically correct in my nomenclature; the Jikku Jikku Fruit would be basically hyperspace/some teleportation via shortening the distance between points in space-time. When you're dealing with crazy relativity mess like that, they tend to be considered the same continuum. At least that's what I remember from the Modern Physics classes I took.

...Although going ZA WARUDO should be a perfectly acceptable life goal in One Piece.

I have another build I would like to submit. It is a martial arts guy with ship building experience. I'm not sure on the name. I had a hard time coming up with one. Everything else is set though.

Kubo spent his youth fixing ships with his dad. Growing up he envied the stories he heard from pirates and marines alike of the high seas adventures and battles. One day on his way to the docks he witnessed a bigger kid harassing one of his friends. Thinking of course about the heroic tales he loved he immediately demanded the bully stop. The end result was a painful butt kicking he still has not forgotten. When he dragged himself home and told his father about it his only response was to smile and ask "If someone decided they wanted to be a ship builder and just went out and started doing it would they be able to do it as well as me?" Kubo vigorously shook his head "Of course not dad you’re the best!" Smiling again his father asked "And how do you think I got so good at it?" The little Kubo thought hard "Practice I guess." "Exactly and that applies to anything you try to do. If you want to be good at something you have to practice till you think you've done all you can and then practice some more because there will always be someone stronger."

From that day forward he put his full effort into everything he did. His knowledge of shipbuilding grew. Eventually using that knowledge he set out to explore the seas he'd idolized his entire life. He joined a crew of tough yet honorable pirates. Watching and growing with them he honed his body into a formidable fighting machine. After years spent at sea he returned home to visit his family. During his stay the town was attacked by a pirate crew that decimated the town. Kubo trying to protect his family went out to confront the pirates. In the ensuing battle he defeated many of the invaders but ultimately came up against an opponent he could not beat. As he lay defeated on the ground slipping into unconsciousness he heard the cries of his family snuffed out to the sounds of a gunshot and horrible laughter that haunts him every time he sleeps.

By pure strength of his will to live Kubo awoke to the destruction of his surroundings. His crew, town, and family had been wiped out. Worse he did not even know the pirates who'd attacked or who that terrible laugh belonged too. Determined to avenge all those he lost he once again sets out for a crew. This time though it's not only for adventure but revenge.

I'm very interested in this game, but I have a slight concern. I'm brand new to this system. Not role playing or PbP in general, just the MnM system. Will this be a problem? The last thing I want is to bring down the game with my inexperience.

Alright, good to hear! I'm going to read up on the game so far just to get a feel for it, if that's alright. Right now I'm leaning towards being a Navigator for the Pinstripe Pirates.

Edit: I may be missing it but isn't there a Mimic Fruit already out there?

I don't think so Voth, but what would the fruit do exactly? Copying other devil fruits is probably a bit of a nono, so what then?
