The initial effects of inspiration are in inverse proportion to the number of people who can hear/see/enjoy the Bard's work (ie. more people = lesser effect). However, over time the inspiration takes root in their minds, and gains the bard a large bonus to NPC reactions and social status when dealing with his or her adoring fans.

This system is built on a skill-based framework, with all abilities (combat, magic use, etc) based off of skill rating.

All spells are cast by a performance of some kind, such as singing (bards), dancing (dervishes) or mime (necromancers).
