How do my GSS superiors feel about trading my needler pistol and all 527 credits I started with for a laser rifle and belt power pack?

Well, that sucks. I'm assuming, as others have, that I can place them as desired. Otherwise, my concept is trashed utterly. I am now the dextrous, weak, not too bright, silent type. I see a lot of acting without much thought, and probably getting my butt kicked in my future.

STR/STA 40/45 (human +5 bonus to Sta)
DEX/RS 70/70
INT/LOG 40/40
PER/LDR 30/30

Skills almost have to play to my very limited "strength". PSA: Military, SSA's Scout and Agent.

Skills: Hand to Hand, Athletics, Detective (this is the "training in security", his instructors weren't really impressed much)

Sounds like your's and my character are gonna get along famously -- mine might have a lot of smarts but he is very impetuous personality speaking -- oh and you might want to do what I did slide 10 points from LDR into PER so you look like PER/LDR 40/20 this will help increase your Perception and make you an awful leader type :-) which impetuous people tend to be -- that is not very good leaders

Be careful there, DeJoker and Dragyn. PER is Personality, not Perception. If you boost it, you'll be personable and chummy at the expense of being a follower rather than a leader. At least, that's my take from Page 4 of the cleaned up rules.

Hey Grendel can I assume that GSS will supply Survival Rations if needed and I only have to return the un-used portion of it?

Also are we using the weapon descriptions and stuff from Alpha Dawn or from Zebulon's Guide --- I know we are only using the equipment from Alpha Dawn but the descriptions form Alpha to Zeb's change for the same items. Sorry if you already answered this question.

Also being a pilot/scout can I get some equipment associated with my profession in leu of the Tech Kit thing... I mean I think a Visocom (hands free communicator) attached to a set of magnigoggles (and/or infrared goggles) might be highly useful for a pilot/scout. Just wondering... never hurts to ask yah know

Oh thanks d_ns -- my bad... misunderstood that one guess an equal split is fine then... then again no with his attitude he is a lot more personable than he is leaderish -- and I re-read LDR and it being low has nothing to do with one having a follower mentality it just means you suck at leading others and being rather spontaneous he would not make a very good leader especially if he tends not to communicate that spontaneity and just acts upon impulse.

Oh and I am updating the version of my character sheet in Applications until I am given clearance to post it wherever it is we are supposed to ultimately posting it.

GSS doesn't like their employees walking around sporting rifles, it's too blatant. If you were going on a commando style mission, then they would approve, and maybe even issue, rifles. But standard gear is pistols.

You can post the character sheet in here and finish it up. Once it is done, I'm going to move it to the team thread.

Personality goes a long way, as they say. None of the abilities is useless. But you take your hits where you want them, it's your character.
