Applications

Should we assume that if we're listed below we are accepted or wait until you close all applications requests to continue making our character and character sheets?
Well, those six make a decent team. I could take this group and run with it, and if more people are interested, start recruiting for second group (as I said earlier, possibly in opposition.)

So welcome to the game! Now, please proceed with the character generation.

If anyone else is still interested in the game, by all means, post ideas in here. There is room on the team for more than six and there is still time while we work out the character stats.

I have a concept for a Yazirian; he’d be the fast, sneaky type with stealth and athletics skills. Most likely he’d use a needler or another silenced weapon. A typical combat situation would see him sneaking over and around obstacles to outflank the opponents, picking them off quietly. In investigative scenarios he would be ideal at tailing people to follow them and discover more intel.

I should have some more time to flesh him out tomorrow if you think he will work for your game.

Okay will get things complete as soon as I can.

Hey Madhatter any feedback on the potential connection between our characters? I think I have a few ideas but wanted to here your thoughts if you had any.

Ghost Wolf, yes it sounds fine. We are now potentially up to seven characters in this team. If anyone is still interested in playing on a second team, let me know.

I am working on my back story right now and re-tooling it to better fit the setting. I don't care how we meet up. Off the top of my head nothing is spilling out into a creative flow. No offense, and nothing against your character. I am just not sure where they would of met up previously. Perhaps his bird chewed up all the pens in your desk and you tracked it down to Chubby Checker playing from a room filled with Junk.

EDIT: Looking over other people's sheets and characters I see some with skills at level 5 and 6, and others with half a dozen to a dozen skills. I thought we only have 3 skills at level 1 and that is it for the game? Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Cody AmoranShort Background: Born on a dirt poor farm world, seventh of eight children Cody spent his childhood dreaming of leaving the dismal existence of his family, he even told himself he'd make it big then come back and get his family out of the squalid little rat hole they called home, but in his heart he knew all he wanted was a way out, a future for himself. At the age of sixteen Cody enlisted in an infantry regiment, he was almost immediately selected for training as a field computer tech, he spent 5 years learning soldiering and military/technical skills, at the end of his initial enlistment he decided he'd had enough of regular military life and mustered out, he then looked for a private job as a specialist, some might have called him a mercenary but he preferred specialist, it had a nice respectable ring to it.

Appearance: A short stocky youngster, his manner indicates a calmness, his movements are purposeful almost graceful. A square jawed man with a pug nose, he keeps his hair short and rarely goes without shaving, mainly because his beard growth is embarrassingly sparse. His blonde hair and blue eyes are quite striking when set against his tanned complexion.

Personality: Cody has been trained to look out for his comrades, this is now second nature, even so he has an eye for the main chance, i.e his own benefits. A stolid young man, he comes across as very serious yet he'll occasionally surprise people with barbed and witty comments.

35 STR -5 / STA +5 (plus another +5 racial)
55 DEX +10 / RS -10
70 INT -10 / LOG +10
30 PER +0 / LDR +0

You probably looked at mine --- you get your Native Language at Level 6 and you get Pan-Galatic Langauge at Level 5 standard rules

As for hooking up I was thinking, well I kind of needing a vehicle fixed and heard you were a pretty good mechanic brought it in once and stuck around chatting with you while you worked on it -- then brought it in again not much later on to have you fix it again --- slam, bang, crash it up, Fly'll put back together slam, bang, crash it up its Ice mode of travel ---- how's that sound for an initial start... then maybe we went out of drinks or something -- he seems to like your choice in music either that or it just grew on him --- he's got a hot looking older sister too.

Hey kbrn62 think you and my character might have met in flight school or perhaps what you think?

Fly is partial to redheads lol. Okay that works for me. I like the bit about the car and then we can say you help bring him out of his lab when he is to engrossed in one project or another. You're also one of the first people ever to keep pens and pennies on your person and not have Grinder chew them up.

I was largely ignoring languages as everyone speaks Pan-Gal, and so can communicate.

I asked someone before to lay out how the ability scores were finalized. Please, everyone add that as a note at the end of the character sheet.

Also, I'm going to put the complete, clean character sheets in a new thread. Any changes that need to be made, including corrections and applied XP, will be done by editing the post.
