I had completely spaced this one out.

Here is our out of character thread.

This is where we can post our weals and woes and speak of just about anything here. (If I find the subject uncomfortable it will be held under scrutiny)

So, I'll begin conversation by asking you all: What do you think of the four primary influences in this game?

(if you missed it, they were Dr. Who, Farscape, Xenosaga, and Lexx)

Dr Who, loved it from the first time I saw it and that was with the 4th Doctor. My favorite episode has to be when the Doctor met Martha Jones on the Moon. Farscape enjoyed it up until the last season. That witch woman, I don't remember her name, grossed me out. Loved Pilot though. Have not had the pleasure of seeing either Xenosaga or Lexx though. I might try to track those down on line.

I have seen episodes of all of them, except Xenosaga, and thought they were pretty cool. But I never really followed any of them, unfortunately.

Re-re-re-re-watching Dr. Who at this very moment.



Farscape was good fun, but my wife wasn't much of a fan so I don't get to watch much of it.

I've seen some episodes of Dr. Who and enjoyed it. I haven't seen the others. But, I'm always open to sci-fi type things of any sort, really. I'm game and if there's any references I don't get, hopefully someone will explain

Have seen a little of all three tv shows, not enough that I really qualify as a fan per se. Tried playing Xenosaga, couldn't get into it (but then again I'm pretty much permanently burnt out on JRPGs).

Never watched Xenosaga nor Lexx, they've never appeared on TV here. Watched some Dr Who years and years ago, Farscape watched a season or two.

Hard to get most of that kind of stuff without buying DVDs or renting from the video shop.

Oooh, just found out Lexx is on Netflix.

FYI, Xenosaga was a video game RPG series, not a TV show.

Ah, Playstation and Nintendo, that explains why I've never seen it.
