A little late, but here I am

I'm Prophyt. It's a handle I've used on the internet for years.

I joined in March but haven't done much by way of posting. I heard about this site from a coworker's boyfriend who plays GURPS. He tried to get me going in a campaign he made, but I found the GURPS system a bit too complex for me. lol

I am familiar with D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, D20 Modern, oWoD, and nWoD. (and familiarizing myself with a few other games, like Dresden Files RPG and Scion)

I first started playing a homebrew version of Werewolf the Apocalypse (with some nWoD stuff thrown in) about 3 years ago. I still play with the same group on most Friday evenings. We're running a 3.5 campaign right now.

That's me in a nutshell thereabouts.

I hope to find lots of great games here.

I find it a bit surpising that you list all those game systems and yet felt GURPS was too complex. I'm not familiar with GURPS but is it really more complex than 3.5/PF ?

Plugsy: the skills system is a lot more complex than 3.5 from what I read out of the rulebook
